Pickles and Planes.

And a paper airplane I made out of an Orbit gum wrapper...Lol. Believe me, it was tiny.

Here we have a picture I took of the Kurtz's Pantry Pickle Family Reunion! It's not every year the twins come!

Understanding.

I get it now why some people really don't like Ronald McDonald...If you are like me, you find this picture completely awesome because you love mashes of iconic characters.
I give the artist all the credit. For me, being my lame self, (lol) found it on the internet.
Enjoy!

Believing in the New Year!

Happy New Year all! I really can't believe that it's already 2012...

While I wait for Pandora to work, I will write something up. Haha.
The things that the new year has brought me so far is...
The taste of salmon caviar...I know what you are thinking, "NO! Not NEMO!!" But as I said before, Nemo was a clown-fish. Not a salmon. And really, it wasn't that bad....Then again, the cracker it was on could have been so over seasoned that I didn't even taste the caviar...

..The Introduction to the anime, "Bleach." I have heard of it but I had never seen it. Then I found it while randomly clicking through channels on New Years eve. That night I had ingested maybe almost 2 liters of Dr. Pepper...And I don't know why. I don't even really like that kind of pop...I guess I was so tired, I didn't even care...ANYWAY. I don't think I will be watching much of this "Bleach," until further notice. Only because I am still trying to figure out "Naruto." :)

..That really took on a life of it's own. Anyhow, 2012 has also brought me the excitement for the new film, "The Secret World of Arrietty." I can't wait. Woo.

Thanks! And have an awesome new year!

The Stone Table.

"If the Witch knew the true meaning of sacrifice, she might have interpreted the deep magic differently. That when a willing victim who has committed no treachery, is killed in a traitor's stead, the stone table will crack, and even death itself would turn backwards."

I believe I first saw The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe when I was 11 years old. I was amazed by everything. The story, the characters, the setting, the music. The music was wonderful and completely matched the film in every way. My favorite part of the whole movie was when Aslan was killed. Although I don't know quite why...Maybe it was the fall of a hero....I really can't say...

For those of you who have not seen this film, I apologize for the spoilers.

Anyway, I was able to again see this movie the other day. I watched it from beginning to end. Not missing a thing. And again I cried when Aslan was killed at the stone table. The quote above has to be my most favorite quote from Aslan. If you haven't noticed, he is my favorite character.

The one part with the stone table is all I really wanted to bring up. The first time, it is a bit frightening. The creatures, the Witch, and again, the music. Really the music helps everything become more realistic, frightening, magical, etc. The end of that scene, when he comes back, is what really makes me gasp every time. Then you smile.   Long Live Aslan!

Even though this wasn't so much about the movie as it was my experience, I hope you enjoy. I have been meaning to write this  forever. I think there may also be one more post before this day ends...
