Monday left Bruiseday

How many of you woke up with this strange urge to listen to a Michael Jackson song? That's today's question. Think about it. Think about it. Think about it.....

Anyway, today I started the day by bouncing a tennis ball on the wall, in high hopes that it would come back. And not hit me in the face. The songs of today are "Storm Warning" by Hunter Hayes, "Home" by Dierks Bentley, (did I spell his name right?) and my favorite, "The Truth." By Jason Aldean. Love it.

Last night consisted of a 9:00pm peanut butter on wheat sammich and some crocheting.  And for those of you that care but didn't catch the show, Marissa won The Next Great Baker on TLC. I wish Nadine would have won. But I guess not. Haha.

Well, I have to get this day started. Have a good one everyone!

Hmmmm

Today  is Sunday, the beginning (or end) of  the week. It's been a long one. I am not excited to deal with Monday. Haha.

Anyway I found myself today eating cheese puffs and watching Nick's The Fairly Odd Parents....Weird show. Did you know that you tend to eat more of a snack food while watching your favorite show, than you do just sitting at a table eating the snack? I heard that somewhere, may have been a Mythbusters thing. Or some Food Network program....I don't remember.

I noticed that I really have nothing interesting to say... Been getting the blog and shop up. Nothing really more than that.  The snow is cold, and I received some camo yarn to make a slouch beanie with. Once I get a little better at crocheting.

AND I FOUND THIS AWESOME NINJA SQUIRREL  PICTURE FOR YA'LL! I CAN HEAR HIS LITTLE THEME SONG NOW!!!!

Woo Hoo! Happy Weekend everyone! If the week doesn't kill me, I'll be BACK! MWHAHAAAAAA.

For My Dad.

This is a song by  WEIRD AL YANKOVIC.  About the first episode (or sixth) of Star Wars. Totally love this one. Been meaning to post the lyrics. I hope they are all correct.

                          "The Saga Begins"

A long, long time ago
In a galaxy far away
Naboo was under an attack
And I thought me and Qui-Gon Jinn
Could talk the federation into
Maybe cutting them a little slack
But their response, it didn't thrill us
They locked the doors and tried to kill us
We escaped from that gas
Then met Jar Jar and Boss Nass
We took a bongo from the scene
And we went to Theed to see the Queen
We all wound up on Tatooine
That's where we found this boy...

Oh my my this here Anakin guy
May be Vader someday later - now he's just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin' "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"
"Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"

Did you know this junkyard slave
Isn't even old enough to shave
But he can use the Force, they say
Ah, do you see him hitting on the queen
Though he's just nine and she's fourteen
Yeah, he's probably gonna marry her someday
Well, I know he built C-3PO
And I've heard how fast his pod can go
And we were broke, it's true
So we made a wager or two
He was a prepubescent flyin' ace
And the minute Jabba started off that race
Well, I knew who would win first place
Oh yes, it was our boy

We started singin' ...
My my this here Anakin guy
May be Vader someday later - now he's just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin' "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"
"Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"

Now we finally got to Coruscant
The Jedi Council we knew would want
To see how good the boy could be
So we took him there and we told the tale
How his midi-chlorians were off the scale
And he might fulfill that prophecy
Oh, the Council was impressed, of course
Could he bring balance to the Force?
They interviewed the kid
Oh, training they forbid
Because Yoda sensed in him much fear
And Qui-Gon said "Now listen here"
"Just stick it in your pointy ear"
"I still will teach this boy"

He was singin' ...
My my this here Anakin guy
May be Vader someday later - now he's just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin' "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"
"Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"

We caught a ride back to Naboo
'Cause Queen Amidala wanted to
I frankly would've liked to stay
We all fought in that epic war
And it wasn't long at all before
Little Hotshot flew his plane and saved the day
And in the end some Gunguns died
Some ships blew up and some pilots fried
A lot of folks were croakin'
The battle droids were broken
And the Jedi I admire most
Met up with Darth Maul and now he's toast
Well, I'm still here and he's a ghost
I guess I'll train this boy

And I was singin' ...
My my this here Anakin guy
May be Vader someday later - now he's just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin' "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"
"Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"

We were singin' ...
My my this here Anakin guy
May be Vader someday later - now he's just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin' "Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi"

Reality.

Eeehhh.....So aside from my couching expedition all weekend, I got to post the lyrics to "Reality" by Kenny Chesney. Love it! Then later, I'll post my new favorite pistachio nut commercial. The one with the honey badger?  CLASSIC. <3

"For me it's a beach bar
Or on a boat underneath the stars
Or with my band up on a stage
For a while everything's okay

For some it's a fast car
Moonshine in a mason jar
And everybody has their way
Somehow to escape

Reality, yeah, sometimes life
Ain't all that it's cracked up to be
So let's take a chance and live this fantasy
'Cause everybody needs to break free from reality

Yeah, some days it's a bitch, it's a bummer
We need a rock and roll show in the summer
To let the music take us away
Take our minds to a better place

Where we feel that sense of freedom
Leave our worries behind, we don't need 'em
All we need is a sunny day and an old tailgate
And we'll escape

Reality, yeah, sometimes life
Ain't all that it's cracked up to be
So let's take a chance and live this fantasy
'Cause everybody needs to break free from reality

Everybody raise your hands and voice tonight
Set your soul free, let's take a carpet ride
We'll leave it all behind

Reality, yeah, sometimes life
Ain't all that it's cracked up to be
So let's take a chance and live this fantasy
'Cause everybody needs to break free from reality

Come on everybody, break free
Come on everybody, break free"

Something to be proud of.

You know what I accomplished today? I sat on the couch for 12 hours. Isn't that something? But hey, it was a marathon of  The Love Saga movies on the Hallmark channel. The ones inspired by the books written by Janette Oak? TOTALLY worth it. And I plan on doing the same tomorrow. Because the marathon just wasn't today, it was to be all weekend! Happy Weekend! :)

Mosters VS Aliens.

SO! I was looking for some video. I found it.

Have you ever seen "Monsters VS Aliens" ? Pretty sure that's a DREAMWORKS movie. Probably the one of the best 3d animated (opposed to 2d animation) next to "Megamind" and "Kung Fu Panda." Both of which are really good, if you're into that stuff I guess. There will probably be another million posts about Megamind. For example, great character design, beautiful music score, animation was great, the lists go on....But that's the mind of an Animation junkie. Haha.

Don't get me started with Pixar, you'll never get through the blog post. :D

Thanks to Google and U-Tube. Easy finding videos....Anyway, this is a little fuzzy, but I think the best part of it was the song itself. LOL. But this is my favorite part of the whole movie. Next to Dr. Cockroach's display on the dance pad thing. Lol.............Lets hope the video works. Enjoy.

Something New. And Awesomly Beautiful. (For those who enjoy the genre of music.)

SO NOW THAT I KNOW HOW TO POST VIDEOS!!! I AM GOING TO POST ONE OF MY FAVORITES. WONDERFUL......................

                                                                    "Hero"

Now, I have never seen the movie, but I have heard this song in a different way. I like this version SO much better. Hopefully the videos work. Super excited!!!

Taylor Swift song #1.

Yeah, I might as well number these. There are gonna be a lot of them.  Below is "Ours." Totally one of my faves. :D

"Ours"

Elevator buttons and morning air
Strangers' silence makes me want to take the stairs
If you were here we'd laugh about their vacant stares
But right now my time is theirs

Seems like there's always someone who disapproves
They'll judge it like they know about me and you
And the verdict comes from those with nothing else to do
The jury's out, my choice is you

So don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
The stakes are high, the water's rough
But this love is ours

You never know what people have up their sleeves
Ghosts from your past gonna jump out at me
Lurking in the shadows with their lip gloss smiles
But I don't care 'cause right now you're mine

And you'll say
Don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
The stakes are high, the water's rough
But this love is ours

And it's not theirs to speculate
If it's wrong and
Your hands are tough
But they are where mine belong and
I'll fight their doubt and give you faith
With this song for you

'Cause I love the gap between your teeth
And I love the riddles that you speak
And any snide remarks from my father about your tattoos will be ignored
'Cause my heart is yours

So don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
And life makes love look hard
Don't you worry your pretty little mind
People throw rocks at things that shine
But they can't take what's ours
They can't take what's ours

The stakes are high, the water's rough
But this love is ours

While watching a cartoon...

Hey! So I was watching Phineas and Ferb a couple of minutes ago...This was the best thing from the entire episode:

"Oh this is like one of those sitcoms where somebody says something that’s misconstrued and the snoopy next-door neighbor gets the wrong package delivered after his in-laws come to visit and somebody has two dates on the same night and they have to paint a white line down the middle of the room but this isn’t a sitcom, Perry the Platypus, this is real life!" -Dr. Doofenshmirtz on the, "A real boy"  episode.  ♥

I also found this! http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Build-a-Perry-the-Platypus-Inaction-Figure/
Now I will have to try it!!

Acting. Actors. Acted.

Okay. So yesterday night, I watched a movie called Mrs. Doubtfire. One of the main characters was a man named Daniel Hillard. Robin Williams played Daniel and Mrs. Doubtfire.

One of my favorite parts was when Daniel was showing all the voices that he could
do. All of them were amazing but I think the best one was the impression of a hot dog. :)

Just a short post about that movie. I probably will come up with a list of favorite actors some time in the future...But Robin Williams has always been one of my favorites.

Yesterday

Yesterday, I went to Walmart and purchased a blue male Betta fish. His name is Camelot. The reason for the name? I watched 'Merlin' Friday night on the Syfy channel. That takes place in Camelot. And it sounded like a cool name for a fish.
And this is the doughnut I had on the way back. If you would call it a doughnut. It was more filling than pastry.
