I Saw DoS Last Night....OH THE FEELS.

(I wrote this last night after I came home. I don't have any pictures to help me out because the bandwidths are low. So no loading of anything for me. I shall, however, load this place with pictures later in the new year. Yay. Here we go.)

Wow. Just, wow. There are so many feels that I don’t know how I am going to express them all without appearing like a crazed, fangirling lunatic. But hey, I don’t want to hide the truth. Hah. I will make this as sane as I possibly can.

First off, wow. Just wow. That was an amazing movie. Wow. I can’t think straight.

Bilbo Baggins. Aw man. He is just awesome. I am trying to decide if he turned out better than Frodo. Except Frodo has a sweet, little, hobbit-sized place in my heart, so I guess I could never really say who is better. But Wow. Just wow. His character has really developed. And I love how you can visually see how the ring is effecting him. It is working a little bit slower than with Frodo, but when the word “Precious” was used, he kind of freaked out.

The Dwarves. AH! They are just an adorable bunch. I noticed how Nori’s star-shaped hair never stayed neat for long…Thorin is just amazing. Like, please don’t get me started. He was perfectly majestic in the first film, and wow. IT JUST GETS BETTER. He seemed a bit different from the first time around, but I can’t put my finger on how he was different. Something to do with the gold…and I wonder if Dwarves are really greedy creatures…Hmm. We didn’t get to see much of Fili though. I missed him! I think he may have only said seven things throughout the entire movie. He said his brother’s name four out of those seven words. I do love how he cares for Kili though… J

OH MY GOSH, KILI!! Oh man, when I saw the arrow go into his leg, I almost gasped. But when he jumped into the barrel and snapped it completely off, even the dude besides me gasped. Mostly everyone in the theater gasped. I love how Tauriel went after him. Ugh. I ship those two so badly now. Going in to it, I really thought she would end up with Legolas—I guess he did too—but I like her much better with Kili. I loved the part where he thought that her being there was just a dream.

“Do you think she could have loved me?” Man. I love this guy. I cried. I was crying. It was so saddening and sweet at the same time.

Yeah, Kili, I think many, many “shes” could. J

The sad part is, I think I know what his fate is going to be. I DON’T WANT ANY SPOILER UGH. I try so hard to stay off anything that can spoil it for me. So, before school starts again on Tuesday, I am going to read the whole book. Then I will know what happens and can go sit in my dark, musty corner and cry by myself. There.

Wow. Mirkwood. Just wow.

Thranduil. Wow. Just wow. I cannot believe…wow. I knew he was fabulous, but WOW. His voice is much deeper than I thought it would be, but it works for him. Man, I hope we get to see more of him. Wow. He reminds me of Loki in some way, but I don’t quite know what that would be quite yet. Like, just his air, I guess. Give me an hour. I’ll figure it out. Wow.

Legolas. Now, Legolas was cool. He did a lot less trolling in this movie than in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It was cool how he seemed younger. His attitude was completely different too. I like the one part when he was in Laketown and the orc actually causes him to bleed. He wipes it off his nose like, “I’m wounded? Since when do I get wounded?” Hehe. He was cool. Dang. So cool. So much cooler than in LotR.

Laketown was cool. Bard and his family were really awesome.

Sorry, can I go back to how fantastic Mirkwood was? Geez.

DAT DRAGON.

Dang. Benedict Cumberbatch did a wonderful job. I still can’t get over it. I LOVED Smaug. His attitude was way different than what I expected. And he looked like Ben! Was I the only one that could see it? MAN ALIVE. I would still watch this film even if it was only Smaug. Oh his voice…much wow. The gold was awesome. And when they covered him in gold. That was brilliant. I love how Smaug was questioning Bilbo about Laketown, and I could just see the look in his eyes. It was easy to guess what he was thinking before he announced it.

LET’S GO DESTROY LAKETOWN! YAY!

The worst part of the whole thing was when Bilbo looked up and said, “What have we done?” I knew that the screen would turn black and say, “Directed by Peter Jackson.” And then it was over. And I didn’t stay long enough to hear the rest of the Ed Sheeran song. *frown*

Wow.

It was SO cool how you could see the fire in Smaug’s chest and neck before it came out his mouth. The CGI was probably the best I have ever seen in any of those movies. I mean…SMAUG. I can’t get over that. Oh noes.

And Radagast. Oh, he’s adorable. ♥

I fear for Gandalf. Heck, I always fear for Gandalf. He left the company and I was all, “WHERE ARE YOU GOING? DON’T LEAVE GANDALF! NOT NOW! BLAAAHHHH YOU’RE GONNA GET YOURSELF KILLED!!”

And then there was Suaron. I knew who it was the second I saw the eye. I said the name the same time Gandalf said it. Yikkkkkkesssssss.

All I need now is to bribe—I mean ask—someone to take me see it again in 3D!! If I can barely handle the big screen with my eyes, then 3D is gonna be epic. I mean, THAT DRAGON. In 3D??

I got home and clicked through the tv channels. Everything else is so insignificant now. I don’t want to watch anything else now.

And I think that may have been better than the first one. The spiders were creepy, and this is a newbie question, but what in the world is up with Thranduil’s face? It went all crazy on him. You know what? Don’t answer that. I want no spoilers. I’ll find out myself. It was probably in the book…I don’t think they would just add something like that if it wasn’t in the book at least a little.

Didn’t Gandalf warn them about crazy stuff that goes on?

I don’t know. I am too tired to remember right now. Again. Give me an hour.

I am so happy/excited right now. I need to wake up one of my friends and have them listen to me for a couple hours. Ugh.

Maybe I will just blast Josh Groban in my ears and fall asleep and try not to think about it. Heheheehahahhahhaahahhah.

[Enter Bilbo Baggin's Nope Gif. I can't find it. Blahhhhhh.]

I love this. I love it all.

I will be back, with more DoS blabbering ons.

*crazy laugh*

Heather Dixon.

Helllooooo alll!!!!! It's been so so long since I have written! And I have this post cooking up in brain about Christmas and the cookies and everything! But I haven't uploaded the pictures onto my computer yet, so I have nothing to display at the moment. So I have a totally different post in its place.

My sister found something out the other day that was kinda, sorta amazing. There is this a girl called Heather Dixon that writes a blog called Story Monster. She is a storyboard artist, and an amazing, funny-funny-funny person. Margaret sends me her blog posts if I miss one of them. I don't know how many times my sister quotes one of her posts. At least once a day, probably.

ANYWAY. The other half of this story is that there is a book called "Entwined." It is a really good book. We both read it last summer when we were reading stuff for the Library contest thing. We didn't end up winning...but we did get so find some amazing books. Entwined was one of those. It is about this Princess Azalea and her 11 sisters. If I can remember correctly, the kingdom was losing money and after her mother died, things changed. Like, dramatic change. The king forbade dancing, mostly because (I think) it reminded him of his wife. So, they found a way to the magical world and that is where they met the Keeper. The Keeper lets them come every night to dance. It works out for a while, until the Keeper decides he doesn't want them to leave.

Here is the description from the book. I just though I would post it--it is really cool.

Azalea is trapped. Just when she should feel that everything is before her... beautiful gowns, dashing suitors, balls filled with dancing... it's taken away. All of it.

The Keeper understands. He's trapped, too, held for centuries within the walls of the palace. And so he extends an invitation.

Every night, Azalea and her eleven sisters may step through the enchanted passage in their room to dance in his silver forest.

But there is a cost.

The Keeper likes to keep things.

Azalea may not realize how tangled she is in his web until it is too late.

The Keeper was like, the best character ever. He kind of reminded me of the Phantom from the Phantom of the Opera. And GOSH, he was so cool.

And then he began to get really creepy...

And by the end, I couldn't decide if I hated him or still loved him.

And the greatest part about this is that the Heather Dixon from Story Monster wrote this book.

Agh, it was awesome to find out. Because, if you go through her blog posts and read and see and everything, that is totally a book she would write. She likes some of the older movies like Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. And if you read the book, her blog, and then think about it...they all just match up.

On a side note, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is amazing. Go watch it.

HOURS OF MUSICAL FUN!!!!

*cough*

Heather's latest post is called "Time for Limes." Look it. You gunna dig it.

Yeah.

That's why I want to be a story-boarderr so badly. I would get to hang out with people like this.

♥♥♥

I'll Be Home For Christmas.

 Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

So, the bad news is that we shall not be going to midnight Mass because we are getting lake effect snow and the roads are horrible. There were maybe two reports about car pile-ups and they each had at least twenty cars. So, we shall be going to the morning mass. (That is if the weather holds.) No Christmas carols for me. :(

I don't understand why the weather has to do this...I mean, three days ago, on the first day of Winter, it was almost 70 degrees. And I was like, WAY TO GO, OHIO! GREAT FIRST DAY OF WINTER.

Apparently the winter fairies didn't approve of my...sarcasm.

And I had gotten my pretty blue dress all ready.

Darn.

On the bright side, I have made over twelve different kinds of cookies. I just finished six dozen a little bit ago, so I don't know what the official cookie count is. It has to be over fifteen dozen...I'll list 'em all later. After Christmas.

And then this song came to mind...though the meaning is not what my circumstance is...I'll Be Home For Christmas by Lady Antebellum. I love the first note of this song. Charles Kelly is amazing.

So, I want to wish all my bloggies a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY BLESSED NEW YEAR!!!

Oh! Also, today is the last day I can say that Matt Smith is the Doctor. I have seen the first two seasons with him and though he is not David Tennant (I'm squealing, if you can't hear me. Seriously. I've got it bad. Hehehehehe) he was kind of awesome. 11 is just kind of funny and adorable. People had often compared him to a baby giraffe...They're so right. ♥♥ I can't wait to see Peter take a whack at being the Doctor. ♥♥

How We Love by Ingrid Michaelson

I have listened to Ingrid's "Human Again" album probably over 36 times. And that is all the way through. I guess that I am not satisfied until I know all the words to every song without looking at the lyrics...ever. But one of the BEST songs on the WHOLE thing is How We Love.

It is a nice change from the constant Christmas music that is playing in every room of the house. I swear, there is a radio in the kitchen, and then the siblings have a radio in each of their rooms. Like, I don't even know where they dug up these radios, but there they are! At least each of them are on different channels...*sigh* Can you believe that Christmas is so close? I can't. I hope that the weather holds so we can go to midnight mass this year. O Holy Night BETTER be included this year. Last time, it was sorely missed. I was so mad.

And if they do exclude it, I will go up into the choir loft and sing it myself, DANGIT.

So long.

Chapter 3- A Short Rest.

Aye, Good Afternoon everyone! My computer has been off for the weekend and I just turned it back on. My Blog list here on Blogger is working again, which is awesome, and it seems as though Elyse has been bleeding rainbows or something like that...♥

Anyway, I have two things that I wanted to go over.

First, does anyone who peeks at this blog on Tuesdays and Bank Holidays use a site called, tumblr? I find that they have amazing gifs, and the people there are so incredibly clever and funny. But then I am not sure if there are also bad things on there...I suppose it depends on who you follow and whatnot. (Yes Mum, I know, I shouldn't say whatnot. :)) I wouldn't be able to do it in the daytime because of the bandwidth thing...but, I would like to join for the awesome gifs.

But what I really want to know is this: Is it safe? Like, it isn't some kind of scam website or anything and will give your computer viruses and stuff. I'll Google that later, I guess...

Second, I am going to start a secondary blog. It will follow mostly Cosplay and awesome plushie tutorials I find online. (I am going to seriously start cosplaying in the new year.) It's a work in progress. I might call it, "Pudge Controls the Weather." You know, like Pudge from Lilo and Stitch? YEAH!

Hehe. This little guy with the sandwich in his mouth. :D

Anyway, that about covers everything.

I am on Chapter 3 of The Hobbit book...I am REALLY enjoying it. Like, I knew that I would like it, but I didn't know I would be enjoying it as much as I am. Hehe. I'll go on about that more later.

EXCLAMATION POINTS TIMES 9000!

The Flesh have been dealt with and even though there were a few casualties, everything turned out good in the end!

Then Amy, Rory, and The Doctor go back to the TARDIS and everything is fine.

Amy cries out in pain and Rory freaks out.

The Doctor says that she is having contractions.

She's having contractions people!! She is in labor!!

The Doctor makes Rory step away and then he takes Amy by the shoulders. She asks what is wrong...

The Doctor opens his mouth and...

THE BLOODY DVD IS SO SCRATCHED THAT THE WHOLE THING FREEZES AND WE SHALL NEVER KNOW WHAT HE TELLS HER!! I AM ABOUT READY TO RAGE-QUIT ON EVERYTHING!!!!!

SOMETIMES I JUST HATE LIBRARY DVDS!!!!

Charlie Mcdonnell

And this is where I break out the headdesk gif again.

Now, if you will excuse me, I am going to go shout my frustration to the world from the top of someplace VERY HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are the Questions.

Question #1:

If I never watch the last two episodes of David Tennant's reign, does that mean that the Tenth Doctor never dies? Does that mean that I will not have to live through that pain?

Songs That I Loved and Then Hated at The End.

Hi everyone! I know it has been a while since I have written, but I really haven't had much to blog about. I want to thank my new follower for the follow! My brother knows him and had apparently showed him my Whiteboard drawings...Maybe I should do more of those..? People seem to like them. I showed my mother and she almost passed out laughing. And I was like, "Mom...they aren't that funny." Meh.

Anyway, while I am listening to my brothers belt "Go Tell it on The Mountain" at the top of their lungs, I want to post these two songs that I have heard recently that I was really digging until I heard the lyrics near the end.

The first one is "Blue Ridge Mountain Song" by Alan Jackson. I loved this one, and I still love it even though it's well...yeah. HORRIBLY SAD.

The next one is a song by Ed Sheeran called "Small Bump." I loved this song while I was listening to it. I was reading the lyrics while I was listening, and then, my eyes caught the end words before the music caught up and well, I was bawling my eyes out for the rest of the song. LISTEN TO THE LYRICS! You'll smack me later for ruining your day.

I found the Official video.

OH THAT MAKES IT WORSE OH STOP NO THE SADNESS OH NOES WHY!!???

But, that is all I have for now. I may come up with more whiteboard stuff. Yay.

So long. The Hobbit: DOS is ALMOST HERE! And Christmas is coming too!

But until then, I'm just gonna stare at this one like this.

Heh. Haters gonna hate.
