I Saw DoS Last Night....OH THE FEELS.

(I wrote this last night after I came home. I don't have any pictures to help me out because the bandwidths are low. So no loading of anything for me. I shall, however, load this place with pictures later in the new year. Yay. Here we go.)

Wow. Just, wow. There are so many feels that I don’t know how I am going to express them all without appearing like a crazed, fangirling lunatic. But hey, I don’t want to hide the truth. Hah. I will make this as sane as I possibly can.

First off, wow. Just wow. That was an amazing movie. Wow. I can’t think straight.

Bilbo Baggins. Aw man. He is just awesome. I am trying to decide if he turned out better than Frodo. Except Frodo has a sweet, little, hobbit-sized place in my heart, so I guess I could never really say who is better. But Wow. Just wow. His character has really developed. And I love how you can visually see how the ring is effecting him. It is working a little bit slower than with Frodo, but when the word “Precious” was used, he kind of freaked out.

The Dwarves. AH! They are just an adorable bunch. I noticed how Nori’s star-shaped hair never stayed neat for long…Thorin is just amazing. Like, please don’t get me started. He was perfectly majestic in the first film, and wow. IT JUST GETS BETTER. He seemed a bit different from the first time around, but I can’t put my finger on how he was different. Something to do with the gold…and I wonder if Dwarves are really greedy creatures…Hmm. We didn’t get to see much of Fili though. I missed him! I think he may have only said seven things throughout the entire movie. He said his brother’s name four out of those seven words. I do love how he cares for Kili though… J

OH MY GOSH, KILI!! Oh man, when I saw the arrow go into his leg, I almost gasped. But when he jumped into the barrel and snapped it completely off, even the dude besides me gasped. Mostly everyone in the theater gasped. I love how Tauriel went after him. Ugh. I ship those two so badly now. Going in to it, I really thought she would end up with Legolas—I guess he did too—but I like her much better with Kili. I loved the part where he thought that her being there was just a dream.

“Do you think she could have loved me?” Man. I love this guy. I cried. I was crying. It was so saddening and sweet at the same time.

Yeah, Kili, I think many, many “shes” could. J

The sad part is, I think I know what his fate is going to be. I DON’T WANT ANY SPOILER UGH. I try so hard to stay off anything that can spoil it for me. So, before school starts again on Tuesday, I am going to read the whole book. Then I will know what happens and can go sit in my dark, musty corner and cry by myself. There.

Wow. Mirkwood. Just wow.

Thranduil. Wow. Just wow. I cannot believe…wow. I knew he was fabulous, but WOW. His voice is much deeper than I thought it would be, but it works for him. Man, I hope we get to see more of him. Wow. He reminds me of Loki in some way, but I don’t quite know what that would be quite yet. Like, just his air, I guess. Give me an hour. I’ll figure it out. Wow.

Legolas. Now, Legolas was cool. He did a lot less trolling in this movie than in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It was cool how he seemed younger. His attitude was completely different too. I like the one part when he was in Laketown and the orc actually causes him to bleed. He wipes it off his nose like, “I’m wounded? Since when do I get wounded?” Hehe. He was cool. Dang. So cool. So much cooler than in LotR.

Laketown was cool. Bard and his family were really awesome.

Sorry, can I go back to how fantastic Mirkwood was? Geez.

DAT DRAGON.

Dang. Benedict Cumberbatch did a wonderful job. I still can’t get over it. I LOVED Smaug. His attitude was way different than what I expected. And he looked like Ben! Was I the only one that could see it? MAN ALIVE. I would still watch this film even if it was only Smaug. Oh his voice…much wow. The gold was awesome. And when they covered him in gold. That was brilliant. I love how Smaug was questioning Bilbo about Laketown, and I could just see the look in his eyes. It was easy to guess what he was thinking before he announced it.

LET’S GO DESTROY LAKETOWN! YAY!

The worst part of the whole thing was when Bilbo looked up and said, “What have we done?” I knew that the screen would turn black and say, “Directed by Peter Jackson.” And then it was over. And I didn’t stay long enough to hear the rest of the Ed Sheeran song. *frown*

Wow.

It was SO cool how you could see the fire in Smaug’s chest and neck before it came out his mouth. The CGI was probably the best I have ever seen in any of those movies. I mean…SMAUG. I can’t get over that. Oh noes.

And Radagast. Oh, he’s adorable. ♥

I fear for Gandalf. Heck, I always fear for Gandalf. He left the company and I was all, “WHERE ARE YOU GOING? DON’T LEAVE GANDALF! NOT NOW! BLAAAHHHH YOU’RE GONNA GET YOURSELF KILLED!!”

And then there was Suaron. I knew who it was the second I saw the eye. I said the name the same time Gandalf said it. Yikkkkkkesssssss.

All I need now is to bribe—I mean ask—someone to take me see it again in 3D!! If I can barely handle the big screen with my eyes, then 3D is gonna be epic. I mean, THAT DRAGON. In 3D??

I got home and clicked through the tv channels. Everything else is so insignificant now. I don’t want to watch anything else now.

And I think that may have been better than the first one. The spiders were creepy, and this is a newbie question, but what in the world is up with Thranduil’s face? It went all crazy on him. You know what? Don’t answer that. I want no spoilers. I’ll find out myself. It was probably in the book…I don’t think they would just add something like that if it wasn’t in the book at least a little.

Didn’t Gandalf warn them about crazy stuff that goes on?

I don’t know. I am too tired to remember right now. Again. Give me an hour.

I am so happy/excited right now. I need to wake up one of my friends and have them listen to me for a couple hours. Ugh.

Maybe I will just blast Josh Groban in my ears and fall asleep and try not to think about it. Heheheehahahhahhaahahhah.

[Enter Bilbo Baggin's Nope Gif. I can't find it. Blahhhhhh.]

I love this. I love it all.

I will be back, with more DoS blabbering ons.

*crazy laugh*

Random Notes While Watching a Movie

So, my little brother wanted to watch The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. He has never seen it before, and that status still remains because he fell asleep before we even hit the seven minute mark. Then the other child that was in the room was asleep by the ten minute mark. I, however, stayed till the bitter end (which was around midnight since we started at eight) and enjoyed every moment of it. So that makes three times I have watched it all the way through.

Anyway, I had a piece of printer paper and I was scratching down notes with a random (and a rather sticky) pencil. I actually filled the whole paper and then the back. I am going to post them without editing them! Hah! It was dark so I don’t know if the spelling will even be right…Maybe I will edit the spelling and then I will probably explain some situations. Because, you know, when you write down notes, you are basically the only one who will understand them later. And sometimes, I don’t even understand what they meant and then I get angry because I wasn't clearer with my chicken scratches.

Here we go!

PAGE 1*

Jed Brophy (Nori) was the first to burp during the dinner scene.

Fili was the first to throw the plate.

(Get screen of Kili being adorable.) Kili!!

Dwalin (Tattoo) moved the plate of cookies. [That happened when Gandalf went to lay out the map on the table.]

Bilbo’s feet were wrapped when drinking tea after fainting.

They [the dwarves] left the house as clean as it was before.

[Balin] winked at Bilbo (pony).

The look on Radagast’s face when the hedgehog died.

The look on Bilbo’s face when he’s contemplating owl hoots.
------

[We paused the movie for a moment and discussed Benedict's Cumberbatch's voice. (We originally started talking about the Necromancer for some reason.)

The conversation went like this:

Me: I heard Benedict Cumberbatch was going to be in the next movie.

Sis: Oh yeah. ~laughs~ He'll get to work with Watson.

Me: Yeah.

~seconds of sitting there after we both sigh because we are exhausted from talking~

Me: Benedict's voice is really cool.

Sis: Yeah.

(We had never heard him talk until we listened to a couple moments of "Ode to a Nightingale" on the internet somewhere.)

Me: It's really deep and so...so...British.

Sister looks at me.

We both start to laugh.]

-----

Kili was the first to attempt to save Bilbo from the trolls.

Bofur was the first to slide down into cave. [When they were running away from the orc pack.]

Son of Thrain-Thror- Thorin

Bofur was the first to ask [where] Bilbo was.

Nori looked back and saw Bilbo. [When he was being taken away by goblins (?)]

Nori’s crazy hair. [Seriously thought, it rocks. It’s shaped like a star. It’s a rock star…aHawah]

F and K [Fili and Kili] were the first to run in and help B [Bilbo]D was right behind them. [I don’t remember what D stood for…probably Dwalin…]

“I wish you all the luck in the world.”

PAGE 2**

“Even good stories need embellishment.”

Misty Mountain at the end is EPIC.

Drawing of a key. [This was a reference to Captain Jack Sparrow and I was going to make some kind of picture out of it or something…Because Thorin had a key…I don’t know.]

“You know nothing of the world.”

Thorin

Hobbit Tartare and Dwarves, a little butter, a little salt. [This was my sister, she walked in when Bilbo was suggesting ways to season the Dwarves.]

“He’s been lost since he left home.” ~Thorin

That is the end of the paper. At the bottom of the second part, there was this weird drawing I did…I don’t know what or who it is exactly…

Hmm.

OH SHE DID IT OH SHE DIIIIDD!!!!

 OKAY SO! Heheeehehehehhahahahahaheheheheheheheheehehehehehhee.

It happened, it was coming, it happened.....MY MIND HAS EXPLODED WITH HAPPINESS!!!! AND WHY IS THERE EXPLODED BRAIN CANDY ON THE FLOOR!!!????? BECAUSE I FOUND AN ARMITAGE ONE TOO!!!! YAAAAAAA!!!!!

Seriously, I have never fangirled this hard on my blog before, but this picture had to be posted. I don't care about merciless teasing from my brother. I DON'T CARE. I LOVE IT.

It is called, "The Long-Expected (or Threatened) Aidan & Dean Post."

This picture is amazing...The comment under it is everything in its truest form:

I think I've given up trying not to fangirl about this guy. I'm just trying to be more discreet about it. He makes it too easy! He just has the best smile. You want to laugh with him. It's adorable. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

Aidan...Hehe. And then Dean is here too:

I am not going to totally rip off her post...Just a couple pictures...♥

Okay, then, I need to go compose myself. It's just like a gigglefest over here and I loved all the pictures..

Actually, Adian is going to be in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones Movie. I haven't read the Mortal Instruments, but I have read the Infernal Devices trilogy. He is going to be Luke Garroway. I have just read that he is a werewolf in the movie. And Luke was a Shadowhunter...and my experience with Shadowhunters...Well, Adian will do a perfect job. :) I mean, William Herondale and James Carstair...well, yeah. YOU GO ADIAN!

Okay, I am done now I guess.

Woot.

Fili and Bilbo. But in this case--not just a Hobbit and his Dwarf companion!

Hello, this weekend has been full of things that were blog-worthy. And yet again, my internet is slow and I have been busy(er) than usual; work, reading, writing, and the like. It is nearing 11pm. So now I have the time--and peace and quiet--to type up something awesome.

This past Friday was my brothers Birthday. So, Happy Birthday to him! For his birthday, he wanted one thing. That thing was a kitten.

Now, we have had kittens before. At one point in time, we had 6 cats in the house at one time. There were three boys and then their sisters. I found them under our porch when I was younger. It was an exciting time because we were about to get a kitten from my aunt. The Saturday before we were supposed to get him, I saw a small black thing sitting on one of the steps on the porch. So of course, me being a child, I ran and told my parents. They went out and found three kittens under the porch and one in the woodshed. My siblings and I were incredibly excited, because that meant that we were going to have five cats! (This was an awesome thing to us because the first kitty we had--her name was Lady (after one of the trains on Thomas the Tank Engine; my little brother was deep into that)--ran away one day. I remember that day. We all had the flu, and were stuck in the house for days. That was not fun in the least. When we got back outside the next couple days...she was nowhere to be seen) ANYWAY, after we got the 4 kittens into the house, Dad saw a fifth one run across the yard and into the woodshed. We only saw him here and there, and nobody really got a good glimpse at him. So naturally, his name became "Bigfoot." A couple days later, he was caught. It took my mom a long time to get him socialized. I can't remember how many times we had to pull out the washer and dryer to get him out from behind it...

After a while, these kittens became cats. They were just a little too much to bear. Let’s just say that wooden railings had been ruined and the whole group was sent to the barn. They enjoyed being outside and each of them went their different ways. Felix decided that she liked the empty shed across the street much more than a yard full of cat siblings that she really truly hated. Cutie stuck around for many years. Then we got new neighbors who have a lot of cats. Cutie went to live with them...I haven't seen her for maybe a year. Cutie 2 (Cutie's brother, I know, original. LOL) had a wandering soul. He would come and go as he pleased. But in the end, I am pretty sure that a coyote took him out...The coyotes were really bad the year he disappeared. I am pretty sure that Bigfoot was taken out that way too...He was an excellent cat after he got used to people! He was really sweet and had an amazing tolerance for the little children annoying him.

Then there were Mask and Boots. Their names pretty much explain all there is to say about how they looked. Boots was black and he had white feet. So her name was instantly "Boots." Mask, well, he had a white, mustache looking thing on his face. (This was the kitty we got from our aunt.) Boots...well, I haven't seen her in a long time. I saw a cat that looked bloody close to her once while out at the Vet's office...but I doubt it was her. She did however, stare at me like she hated me. And that is how she looked at everyone. Mask was taken out by a car. It was a horrible day for my sister--for he was her kitty. In short, I absolutely hate the road we live on.
~sigh~
Well, this has been quite depressing, but I would like to finish before I get to my real point. There were three other cats. Smokey: an older kitty we found wandering stayed with us until he died. I think the neighbor man said that a fox got him...Then there was Princess: another old cat that just needed a home. Unlike the rest of them, she died because well, her time was done on this earth.

Then there was my kitty Tigger--the one in the picture on the top of this blog. My parents said that he got lonely and wandered away to find a girlfriend. I can believe it, because he was such a charmer, but I can't believe that he ran away from his family to find love.
Geez, whatever.

And without further delay, I bring you the POINT OF THIS WHOLE POST! IF YOU HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR, YOU ARE TRULY A VERY PATIENT PERSON. Seriously, I rant. It just goes on and on and on...

My brother did get a kitten for his Birthday. It has been almost 3 days and he loves the thing to pieces. But the awesome thing here--for me--is that, I got this kitten’s brother.

Meet, Fili:

Needless to say, we all know why his name is Fili. Because Fili is my favorite out of Thorin's company. Ya know, besides Kili and Thorin...(THE REASONS ARE OBVIOUS PEOPLE! COME ON!) His name was Fili before we even went to pick him up. I know it's not the greatest picture, but my camera has been running on dead for a long time. Anyway, he is super cute. He is fearless...

And this is my brothers kitten, Bilbo. The second Fili was named, brother says, "My kitten's name is Bilbo!"

My littlest sister calls him "Bobo meow."

Yes, that is a foot in the picture. He didn't know that I was taking a picture. Mostly because he was asleep. He ended up kicking the cat off the couch...

Anyhow, they are still getting over what I think was a cold. That's why their noses and eyes are a little bit messy. But I think that overall, they are healthy kitties.

Well, that is all. I hope you enjoyed the long winded story about past cats and their demise...

Oh, it's very late indeed.

Aye, there's a picture a brewing!

Now say it with a Scottish accent. You know you want to. :D

I find a lot of my stuff on Pinterest. I found out that my Uncle is on Pinterest...OH YAY FOR DAYS!! I basically live there. All I need to survive there is internet, a water bottle, and some oyster crackers. You know, those little octagon ones that you put in soup? I am kind of addicted to those...

What?

This is me, everyday of my life.

This is awesome. Precious...

The comment on the bottom, and I quote, "My OCD hero, ladies and gentlemen." This comment is true. I hate it when they stack it in a mess! Because then, you cannot find what you are looking for! And then there's me. Who waits in the pharmacy straightening all the vitamin bottles on the shelf because they aren't straight...I am OCD...No, that would be CDO...Alphabetically in order.

I ripped that off of somewhere. I am not original. ~bawls~

I don't watch Spongebob. I think it's kinda...uh...really stupid. But this was funny and basically me on bad days...

This is something that relates to the last post...It's true. So you yell at your sister and the random teenager sitting on the floor by the manga shelf at the library --he's reading Bleach-- and he's like...? Never mind.....*so many feels*

This here, horrified me. I don't know why. I just...don't know why. I mean, I am not an Elvis hater...my Grandma loves him...this just struck me as...yikes. It was funny though. :O)

Oh dear...saw this and facepalmed. Really. Really? Clever wordplay, I will give them that. Oh gosh...

Speaking of Benedict Cumberbatch, I found this picture on Pinterest yesterday. Someone morphed him and Robert Downey Jr. They both play Sherlock, and this is what they got:

I thought it was pretty cool.

Pretty cool...yeah.... ^.^

I realize now, how depressed I am over the series finale of Merlin. We started BBC's Robin Hood the other day and I can't not watch it and think Thorin. It's like, in the first episode, he gives you one of those, "Thorin stares" as I call it and then everyone respects him. But I can't get over how negative his attitude is so far. It's so angry/mean almost.

But it's also hard to not sigh over Richard Armitage.
I am such a bloody fangirl.
BUT HE IS SO COOL!
Needless to say, Guy is my favorite character. Out of 3 whole episodes...YEAH.

I must go now, I guess. It's late.
I was reading with my dying flashlight on my bed until midnight.
Then, in the morning, around 10:30, I fell asleep during my Science. Bacteria is boring! I got in an excellent nap though. It was so short lived--

Oh, I forgot this awesome painting of Fili I found--

I wish I had the program and the talent to do stuff like this. I think it's amazing. Kudos to the artist!!

Man, I love it.

I am such a fangirl.

♫I don't care! I love it!♫

OKAY!

So, I was on Pinterest again...I have almost 400 things that I repinned...

This was one of the best. I don't know why...oh yeah, because it's true.

I know I said something about screenshots of Fili...but in my defense, he's in this one! LOL.

I haven't been on much because I have been busy with family related stuff and I was repainting my bedroom. I have pictures of before and after. So when I get the time, I will post them.

It's amazing what primer will do!

Ahhhhaa...I love that picture...

I win. I knew it was Ori.

So, I noticed while taking screenshots from The Hobbit, that that movie has excellent colors! I mean, there are browns and golden colors and all sorts of blues and I can't remember the rest, but I know that they were beautiful.

A lot of movies that I have taken screenshots from do not have color like this one. I couldn't believe how well the shots came out. I mean, look at these!

This one I actually took a couple months ago. From the first Lord of the Rings. I loved the green so much I took a screenshot of it. The colors of The Shire are amazing!

Radagast the Brown, I believe that is his name. It may not look the way on different screens like it does on my screen...but the greens in the background are incredible! Look at the blue orb in his staff! ~shrill cry~ AWESOME.

I like Radagast. He's cool. He is totally like me. In the sense that I prefer animals over human companionship. But I have no magical powers...as it would seem. That, or I just haven't unlocked my TRUE POTENTIAL!! Oh dear, I went a little "Ninjago" there...

But I do have magical powers. As of now. I just need to unlock them.
Yeah.
That's right.

Then there are two here of Galadriel. (I am quite sure that is her name.)  I can't express how much respect I have for her...
But they did turn out really well. The blues and purples and the like. They turned out beautifully.
Yay.

But I believe that I said something about Ori, and I have neglected that up until now.

I took screenshots with the captions on. If you watch the beginning scene when the Dwarves raid Bilbo's pantry with the captions on, there are a bunch of funny things that the dwarves say to each other in the background.

Here is what I came up with.

DO YOU SEE ALL THE BROWNS?!?!!? THEY ARE BEAUTIFULLLLLL!!!!!!
Anyway, this is what I was talking about.

And then there was this thing I found on Pinterest moments ago. It fit the theme.

Yeah. I think that the cardigan and the mittens really made him better. :) My mom knits, so, of course I am asking her to make me some of the mittens...

That would make them "knittens."
That was a joke.
A play on words.
No?
Okay.

I crochet and don't really have an interest in knitting. I don't do that much crochet as it is either...
One of my favorite parts is when Bilbo makes the comment about how it's not a dishcloth, it's a doily. And how it's supposed to have holes in it, it's crochet. Then Bofur makes the comment about how it's a wonderful game...or something like that. ~facepalm~ Hilarious.

I honestly repeat that line about how it's not a dish cloth--towel, one of the two--every day. It's CROCHET.

I think it was Bofur. Oh dear. I swear I will get them all in line one day. Hehe.

One more thing before I go.
I found these places: Hobbit name generator-- and Elvish name generator--

So as a result of that, my Hobbit name is Daisy Foxburr of Loamsdown, and my Elven name is Idril Helyanwë. I think the Elvish one is pretty...and I may start going by that in real life. Once I can pronounce it correctly. I think it's pretty basic. Id-ril, like "lid-shrill." Something like that.

Unless it's Idril, like "eye-drill."
Or nothing like that altogether.
I still like it.
Daisy is a cute name, however.
Meh, we'll see.

Happy almost the end of April.
I shall return.

ONE GIANT STEP FOR ME KIND!

Well, today, I joined Pinterest. I had thought about it for a long time...and I am not very fond of social media...but I did end up doing it. Yay me.

Yes.

The first thing I need to do is follow a board that either is about Legolas or...my new favorites...Fili and Kili...
These dudes.

As of, oh I don't know, when Bilbo opened his door, these two became my favorite Dwarves. I think Thorin is amazing...All of them are great. They made The Hobbit so much fun! Now, I can't tell you all of their names  by heart--not yet anyway--but I basically adore them all!

Watching the "blogs" on the special features of The Hobbit DVD is pure fun! I am only at the...5th one? I think...It's so awesome to watch them because I love watching how they make the movies, and the actors are fun to watch when they are not in costume...You learn so much!

I guess this turned out to be my post about that movie.
Oh, well, quick review...
IT. WAS. BOSS.

Now I won't have to say anything more about it, because that sentence sums the whole movie up. Yay.

Now, I just need a walk-through for Pinterest. Because, I am very much...confused. Heh.

Until I can figure it out...
~Natsu
