Strangest of Dreams

Last night I had a pretty strange dream. It was rather hot in the bedroom because it's like negative six outside at night and my mom turned the heat up. So you sometimes wake up in the middle of the night because you are so super warm! (This is relevant, but I can't remember why.)

Anyway, it was really weird, the part I could remember. Richard Armitage came over for dinner. I got to sit next to him at the table. And he looked at me like this:

And I was like.

DANG

Then he smiled at me and I woke up.

But how awesome would it be to have Mr. Armitage over for dinner? I wonder what kind of food he likes.

Hmmmmmmmm.

My Weekend.

Hello.
I wanted to do something special for my 250th published post. I wasn’t sure what would be good, but I thought that maybe I would save it until my birthday. That way, I could just tell of that…and maybe it would be interesting. So here I am, writing down how my weekend went. Enjoy.

Well, Friday was my birthday. And since it was also All Saint’s Day (which is a Holy day) we went to church after Dad got home. It was a high mass, so that means that there is more singing from the choir and priest than in a usual low mass like the ones on Sunday morning. Overall, it was how high masses are. The choir, I think, needed a little more practice…but they were okay. Not to be mean, but they haven’t been very good since they changed the director. I mean, it could just be me being bitter because of, well, I was “let go” so to speak, years ago from the choir. It was some security debacle and a lot of the original choir members left when that happened. It hasn’t been the same since. But, one of my best friends, Mr. Cook, still sings, if not in the choir loft. I think he is nearing 80 years…now? Love him. One of the singers in Il Divo has a voice just like his. Maybe when I find the song, I will point it out. Because that’s what he sounds like.

ANYWAY! It was pretty late when we got home—as it has always been—so not much happened after that. On Saturday, I went with my parents to dinner at a place called Bakers Square. They have amazing pie there. The food is great too, but sometimes the portions are just HUGE! Really yummy pie. It was a fun time. Then we went and did usual shopping and stopped at a craft store for a moment. I found the flickering, battery powered tea candles I was looking for! My Gram had some a couple years ago, and I thought that they were awesome. I think she even gave me one and I put it in my bedroom window at Christmas time. She, however, had ordered them from QVC and I wasn’t sure if I could get them anywhere else, but I did! So, I scored. Yah. Scored.

I haven't opened this yet, but it was something my Gram gave me. She sort of gets a pack of Baklava every year for me...it's great...Thanks Gram! :D

Its awful fun going shopping with my parents because Mum goes into (with all due respect, of course) shopping mode, and Daddy and I just goof around. We somehow made it out with 4 bags of marshmallows. And I got blamed because I am the one with the marshmallow problem. Hehe.

These are the huge mallows he found. I think, at the end of the day, we ended up with a bag of these, two bags of pumpkin ones and a bag of regular marshmallows.. :)

Since it too got late on Saturday, on Sunday, after we got home from church, Mum and Margaret and I went to Dairy Queen and got an Ice-Cream cake. I don’t think that there was actual cake in it though. Come to think of it, I haven’t had an actual birthday cake for a few years now at least. I just love those ice cream ones…

My yummy, pretty Ice Cream cake. By far, DQ has the best Ice Cream cakes. The only real reason I get them is for the cookie stuff at the bottom. YUM.

The piece was much bigger that I had anticipated. Hehe...yummy.

AT THE END OF ALL THAT! My whole family sat down and watched Monsters University. It was AWESOME because we hadn’t really had a movie night like that since the first Monsters Inc. was out! That was so many years ago! The movie was great; very funny. My mum is not really into animated stuff so it was cool that she stuck around…then again, she did watch Brave with us…and I am forcing her into watch LOTR because my uncle and cousin refuse too…hmmm.

It was kind of annoying/funny what my brother did the night before. He made me stay up until midnight so that it was technically my birthday so he could give me his gift.

OMGOSH IT WAS A SONIC SCREWDRIVER!!!! AND IT LIGHTS UP!!! LIGHTS UP!!! Soooo…that was awesome. Now I am ready to cosplay as the Eleventh Doctor. YAY!

I also received two DVDs from my sister. It was Pride and Prejudice, the 2005 version with Kiera Knightly, and North and South, the one with Richard Armitage in it. (Cue Mordecai’s openmouth surprise face here.) EXCITEMENT!! I have already seen that version of North and South twice…that’s like eight hours of show…it was in the same week too… :)

*sigh*

It was awesome.

I have also decided that I am going to use my real name on this blog now. I had used the pen-name “Natsu” because I was a bit younger when I started this blog, and my mum didn’t want my name out there. So, everyone, my real name is Anne. *cue realization music* I will be signing my posts with “Annie” from now on. I don’t know if I will change my Pinterest name, though. I may just keep that the same.  Natsu is the Japanese word for Summer, if my memory is correct. It’s the Japanese name my friends gave me (or rather, the one I chose) when I entered the Naruto fandom.

Yeah.

Well, speaking of Japanese things…I have a great post that includes stuff like that!

TO THE NEXT POST!

Birthday Wishes!

Guess who's Birthday it is today!

BEEP! Time is up!

Today is Richard Armitage's Birthday. (Not the politician or the agent. Wikipedia is strange. When I type in someone, I mean that someone. Not the three other versions of that name.)

 SO.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. ARMITAGE!!!!

(This is where we have some teary-eyed person come give a great speech. But he wasn't here today, so we are going to eighty-six the speech. Or I could just give Bilbo's birthday speech....Hmmmm....)

Hope he has a happy day!!

Oh The Thinks I Can Think!

**In response to something earlier, a comment and such, I was able to find a ComicCon video with Benedict Cumberbatch. So, there is something about a cabbage, a helicopter, and some tea? Was this the right one? It was certainly entertaining. Hehe.**

Hello Blogging world! It has been a while since I had blogged and let me tell you, I have missed it! My weekend was incredibly packed with relatives and party preparations and the like. Cousins are making their last appearance tomorrow, and then that will be the end of the reunions until next summer! It was a most enjoyable weekend. I got to meet two...no, three new cousins. Including a wife, a husband, and the cutest baby I have ever seen that goes by the name of Natalie. I swear, if I hadn't another cousin--actually, they are both second cousins--who was equally as cute, Natty would be the cutest child ever.

Now, I apologize, but we must get back to the regularly scheduled nerdiness and fangirling this blog usually hosts.

First off, we got a new still from the up-and-coming season of Avatar: The Legend of Korra. This one is of the first Avatar, Avatar Wan. Observe:

My thought? HE HAS A BOLIN NOSE!!!!! I don't know why, but I absolutely adore Bolin's nose. It's even more fun to draw. The thing with this was, take away Wan's beard, cut the hair a bit, and re-color his eyes and you have Bolin! I cannot express in words how excited I am for this new season of A: LOK. It is going to be amazing. I heard somewhere that the release date is rumored to be September 7 of this year...Now, I don't know if this is accurate, but fingers crossed it is!

Secondly, I was wondering if Richard Armitage realizes how many fangirls he actually has...And how most of them are half his age. I think it's wonderful.

Thirdly--if thirdly is a thing--I have gotten back on Pinterest after a very long vacation from it...YAY!

 I shall be back.

OH SHE DID IT OH SHE DIIIIDD!!!!

 OKAY SO! Heheeehehehehhahahahahaheheheheheheheheehehehehehhee.

It happened, it was coming, it happened.....MY MIND HAS EXPLODED WITH HAPPINESS!!!! AND WHY IS THERE EXPLODED BRAIN CANDY ON THE FLOOR!!!????? BECAUSE I FOUND AN ARMITAGE ONE TOO!!!! YAAAAAAA!!!!!

Seriously, I have never fangirled this hard on my blog before, but this picture had to be posted. I don't care about merciless teasing from my brother. I DON'T CARE. I LOVE IT.

It is called, "The Long-Expected (or Threatened) Aidan & Dean Post."

This picture is amazing...The comment under it is everything in its truest form:

I think I've given up trying not to fangirl about this guy. I'm just trying to be more discreet about it. He makes it too easy! He just has the best smile. You want to laugh with him. It's adorable. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

Aidan...Hehe. And then Dean is here too:

I am not going to totally rip off her post...Just a couple pictures...♥

Okay, then, I need to go compose myself. It's just like a gigglefest over here and I loved all the pictures..

Actually, Adian is going to be in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones Movie. I haven't read the Mortal Instruments, but I have read the Infernal Devices trilogy. He is going to be Luke Garroway. I have just read that he is a werewolf in the movie. And Luke was a Shadowhunter...and my experience with Shadowhunters...Well, Adian will do a perfect job. :) I mean, William Herondale and James Carstair...well, yeah. YOU GO ADIAN!

Okay, I am done now I guess.

Woot.

May I just Rant On?

****SPOILERS AHEAD Concerning BBC’s Robin Hood****

Guy of gisborne photo SirGuy1.jpg

Okay, out of all the things Gisborne has done, he has somehow stayed on my list of the top 3 favorite characters of the show. I always sat down to watch the show with the mindset that he maybe he would change in this episode. Maybe he would finally defeat the Sheriff or give up his lust for power or something. I had hoped that he would somehow become good…But now, even though he still continues to be on the favorite list (and I blame this on the fact that I think Richard Armitage is Bloody awesome) Gisborne did something in the last episode of the second season that I don’t think I can overlook. He killed Marian.

Starting from the beginning of my story, Robin Hood has quickly become a favorite show. The beginning of the first episode was a little weird, but it doesn't stay like that. The show gradually gets better and better. The characters grow immensely as the seasons play out. I know I am terribly late, seeing as though this show came out in 2006 and finished in 2009, but we needed a new BBC show after Merlin ended. That may sound a little dramatic, but there is really nothing on American TV (drama-wise) that is any good. So do you see my point?

Anyway, so we ripped through the first season.  In the first couple episodes, the editing was a bit choppy, bouncing from scene to scene and the like, but it got better. I mean, I don’t really know that much about editing, but I know when it doesn't work. But that leaves during the middle of the first season. Since then, the editing has been fine. The costumes we thought were a bit weak until we watched the behind the scenes. That is where the costume designer explained that they were going for a more modern look. They wanted the costumes to be something that the modern kids nowadays would maybe like to wear. Honestly, if I was able to pull the dresses off as amazing as Marian did, I would only wear those. (Save for the times I would wear Susan’s Narnian dresses and ANYTHING that Arwen wore.) But then we (we being my sister and myself, of course) were nodding our heads, “Yeah.” When they explained that the costumes were supposed to be more modern and more like the clothes people wear today, it totally worked. And we saw it. It worked completely.

The characters are awesome. Much, Will, Djaq*, Allen, John, and of course Robin Hood, make the perfect team. In the beginning, it was only Much and Robin coming back from the war in the Holy Land. As the first season progresses, we see the gang begin to form. We meet Will Scarlet pretty early on, and we see Allen A Dale in the first episode. He was running away from guards, if I can remember that correctly. Robin basically saved his life. Sister and I figured out a system with their gang. If one dies, another will soon come to take its place. That’s how Djaq came in. I cannot believe how amazing she looked in season 2. Don’t take it as me being weird, but she was kick-butt! Amazing!

I could go on and on about the characters, they are all greatly written. I don’t like the Sheriff, but he’s the villain, so I don’t know if you are really supposed to like villains or not. I saw this thing on Pinterest, it was the Genie from Disney’s Aladdin and the words were, “Villains are EVIL.” Then it was like, “Unless they are…” we all pretty much could guess where that goes. And he finished with, “They’re just misunderstood.” And that pretty much goes for Gisborne I guess. Eheheh.

I am done talking about the show itself. It’s amazing and we went through the first two seasons really quickly. Obviously, we don’t understand the idea of pacing ourselves. It was a bit sad learning that there were only three seasons, but after certain characters go, the story can only go so far. I am pretty sure that I caught the name of one of the writers that worked on Merlin on one of the credits in the beginning of Robin Hood. I think it was Julian Jones, but I am not sure. Again, the story can only go so far. It’s better having 3 seasons of a well-written show than having 7 weak seasons with a watered down story. Much like, well, any Sit-Com on Disney Channel. Bleh. Those don’t even have stories really…That’s Sit Coms for you.

But I came here for my real rant, so here it goes. I applaud you if you made it this far. :)

Gisborne had always been a bit hard on the outside. We did catch bits of pieces of him showing actual emotion. Examples being when he was scared for Marian or when she said something that brought a little bit of relief to his mind. We go on and he is trying to get her to marry him. Everyone knows that she was Robin Hood’s from the beginning, and I don’t disagree with this, even though I kind of had hope for Guy and Marian. But Robin and Marian were so perfect together, so it’s okay to crush my dreams. Haha.
Anyway, he did get a little better, but then there were the things he did. I understand Marian’s reasons because, that kind of stuff just doesn't get easily forgiven.

Examples,

v  HE TRIED TO KILL THE KING GOSH DARNIT!!!

v  He burned her house to the ground. On orders of the Sheriff, however, and he did say that he would take it back if he could. Marian and her ill father Edward were under house-arrest at the castle and Edward was living in the dungeon...My point still stands. He could have chosen to defy the Sheriff and he could have chosen against burning the house. Fact is, he didn't.

v  He stabbed her. Which wasn't really his fault because he didn't know it was her. Marian was being the Night Watchman and Guy was just trying to get him. Now that I think about it, basically everything he did was on orders of the Sheriff. His goal was to get power and wealth so he could show Marian that he could provide for her.  Marian ended up surviving this only because Djaq was able to fix her up. That episode was awful. It’s worse seeing Jonas Armstrong (Robin) crying than it was seeing Colin Morgan (Merlin) cry. And that’s horrible seeing Merlin cry. Seeing Robin and Marian was like watching Merlin and Freya all over again. OH THE HORRIBLE SADNESS. THE FEELS

And then there is just the fact that Gisborne is mean and demanding. Overall, he was a pretty good Villain/trying not to be a villain character. And he is still pretty good. But I Could. Not. Believe. That he would kill Marian. Not in a thousand years. He had tried so hard to win her heart—and he did get to the point where he almost married her…but she left him at the altar.

I honestly screamed, and forgive my English, WHAT THE BLOODY HECK WAS THAT!!?????

It was unbelievable that he would actually take her life. He had saved it once before. When he found that she was the Night Watchman.  The penalty for that—because it was basically what Robin’s gang did, steal from the rich to feed the poor—was death. But Guy didn't want her to die. So he had Allen (who was on his team by then) pose as the Watchman so that she didn't have to die. The Night Watchman just “escaped.”

I suppose that’s the end of my rant. Mother says not to get sad over the deaths of characters, but I cannot help it. IT WAS MARIAN.

*This was only about the characters, not the actors; all of the actors were amazing. ~wink~

You are so amazing Richard Armitage. ♥

Thank you.

~~Natsu~~

--Updated two days later--*It's actually spelled "Djaq." I had wrongly assumed that it was spelled Jack, and for this I apologize. It has, however, been fixed. :)

Aye, there's a picture a brewing!

Now say it with a Scottish accent. You know you want to. :D

I find a lot of my stuff on Pinterest. I found out that my Uncle is on Pinterest...OH YAY FOR DAYS!! I basically live there. All I need to survive there is internet, a water bottle, and some oyster crackers. You know, those little octagon ones that you put in soup? I am kind of addicted to those...

What?

This is me, everyday of my life.

This is awesome. Precious...

The comment on the bottom, and I quote, "My OCD hero, ladies and gentlemen." This comment is true. I hate it when they stack it in a mess! Because then, you cannot find what you are looking for! And then there's me. Who waits in the pharmacy straightening all the vitamin bottles on the shelf because they aren't straight...I am OCD...No, that would be CDO...Alphabetically in order.

I ripped that off of somewhere. I am not original. ~bawls~

I don't watch Spongebob. I think it's kinda...uh...really stupid. But this was funny and basically me on bad days...

This is something that relates to the last post...It's true. So you yell at your sister and the random teenager sitting on the floor by the manga shelf at the library --he's reading Bleach-- and he's like...? Never mind.....*so many feels*

This here, horrified me. I don't know why. I just...don't know why. I mean, I am not an Elvis hater...my Grandma loves him...this just struck me as...yikes. It was funny though. :O)

Oh dear...saw this and facepalmed. Really. Really? Clever wordplay, I will give them that. Oh gosh...

Speaking of Benedict Cumberbatch, I found this picture on Pinterest yesterday. Someone morphed him and Robert Downey Jr. They both play Sherlock, and this is what they got:

I thought it was pretty cool.

Pretty cool...yeah.... ^.^

I realize now, how depressed I am over the series finale of Merlin. We started BBC's Robin Hood the other day and I can't not watch it and think Thorin. It's like, in the first episode, he gives you one of those, "Thorin stares" as I call it and then everyone respects him. But I can't get over how negative his attitude is so far. It's so angry/mean almost.

But it's also hard to not sigh over Richard Armitage.
I am such a bloody fangirl.
BUT HE IS SO COOL!
Needless to say, Guy is my favorite character. Out of 3 whole episodes...YEAH.

I must go now, I guess. It's late.
I was reading with my dying flashlight on my bed until midnight.
Then, in the morning, around 10:30, I fell asleep during my Science. Bacteria is boring! I got in an excellent nap though. It was so short lived--

Oh, I forgot this awesome painting of Fili I found--

I wish I had the program and the talent to do stuff like this. I think it's amazing. Kudos to the artist!!

Man, I love it.

I am such a fangirl.

♫I don't care! I love it!♫

Falling.

I have had a song stuck in my head for days now. It is called, "Falling." By none other than The Civil Wars. I know, I have been a little obsessed with them lately...So, maybe if I post the video and lyrics, it will be out of my head. I doubt it. Highly.

Haven't you seen me sleepwalking,
'Cause I've been holding your hand
Haven't you noticed me drifting
Oh let me tell you I am
Tell me it's nothing
Try to convince me
That I'm not drowning
Ooh let me tell you I am
Please, please tell me you know
I've got to let you go
I can't help falling
Out of love with you, ooh
Why I am feeling so guilty
Why I am holding my breath
I'm worried 'bout everyone but me
And I just keep losing myself
Tell me it's nothing
And try to convince me
That I'm not drowning
Oh let me tell you I am
Please, please tell me you know
I've got to let you go
I can't help falling out of love
With you
Oh, won't you read my mind
Don't you let me lie here
And die here
Oh, please, please tell me you know
I've got to let you go
I can't help falling
Out of love with you
With you, oh
Haven't you noticed
I'm sleepwalking

There we go. That should do it.

I think that if I could ever get myself to learn the guitar, this would be the first song I would learn. Oh heck, I would learn the whole album first. It is a change from posting about Thorin. So that's good...I think.

Speaking of Thorin, since Merlin is ending, my sister and I were in search of a new BBC drama. We looked at things such as Doctor Who, Sherlock--sister freaked when she saw the trailer because she read the book and it was just like it (I was just confused because Martin Freeman was there...and I was like, Bilbo? Why are you Watson?? Where are the Dwarves?)--and Robin Hood. I think in the end, we decided on Robin Hood first. I was scrolling down on the cast list on IMDB and a name struck me as familiar.

It was Richard Armitage.

This guy.

And I was like, isn't that Thorin?

There I go again...

Whatever.

Your argument is invalid...

But I was right, anyway, so that's all that matters.

So, I stepped back and said, "We are watching that."

Enough said.

He's even kinda majestic without being Oakenshield....

Whatever.

I must go get my sanity back.
Maybe.
It's way too hot outside to be sane.
