Instead of a Cheese Documentary.

I have been working through walls (the walls that block my ideas that is.) It is getting a little simpler to write now that I have a couple things to get me to do it. Firstly, I usually wake up with a song in my head. So what I do it write down the song name and singer, and then I force myself to write a couple paragraphs about it. Whether it be an essay-like piece, or something I could eventually put into one of my stories. Secondly I found that having new music to listen to helps me as well. Like if I change the channel on the radio from country to pop or just buying a new cd from the store.

This week I actually bought two albums. On Monday I went to Wal-mart for Taylor Swift’s Red and ended up finding Eric Church’s Chief album. (Which I had been looking for FOREVER…Sometimes the music is all mixed up, so it’s harder to find things.) In the end, Red was bought on Tuesday because it wasn't there Monday.

Now I told myself that I would listen to the cd a couple times before I decided what I should write about it. First off: It is much different from her last 3 records. A few songs are completely “pop style.” It is a good blend with the couple slow, more country songs. There was not a song that I didn't like. My favorites would have to be—

1. Stay Stay Stay (Adorably cute song. Omg.)

2. Begin Again

3. The Last Time (With Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol)

4. Everything has Changed (Featuring Ed Sheeran)

5. (These are not in order, but The Last Time is basically on the top…)

And basically, I really like each and every song. 22 is fun to dance to as is I Knew You Were Trouble. It is a fun album. And I really like it. I actually caught the Begin Again music video as I was typing this up…That was more of what I thought it would be--Really awesome. :)

What I really wanted to blog about was Eric Church’s Creepin’ music video. I really like the theme of it…I thought it was amazing when I saw it. The song is totally awesome too. Springsteen is probably, for me, the best song that came out this year. But here is Creepin’ since I already blogged Springsteen ♥

Anyway, other than that, my week has been pretty beige…I have been in extreme muscle pain for the last few days. Why? Because I thought that using a jump rope for exercising would be fun. Ya know, instead of the boring treadmill…But now I know the real truth…JUMP ROPES ARE EVIL.

I have to get up at the absurd hour of 6am tomorrow, so I guess I should go.

Have a great weekend!

(PS. I am in the long process of updating the blog. SO if things start to look  a little different...Yeah....)

Random knowledge, and other news.

So, randomly, I Googled, Eric Church. Turns out, his full name is Kenneth Eric Church. I just thought it was interesting. Now I know something that I didn't know 12 hours ago! Tim McGraw's full name is Samuel Timothy McGraw...Just thought that deserved a place here as well.

Today I saw the lyric video for Taylor Swift's new song, We will never ever get back together. From her new album, Red. The album is coming out October 22, 2012. I am really really excited. But I wonder if she is going more towards the pop route, and leaving Country...I don't know quite yet, but I think whichever path she does end up taking, the album will still be amazing. That's my opinion. I have heard every song from her 3 previous albums, and I believe that this one will be just as great, if not better. Does that make sense?

While I am talking about music, Rolling in the Deep, by Adele is really really good. I can't express how amazing I think she is.

Well, I am in the middle of a couple different things, so I will be back later. Maybe I will have something interesting to say.  :D

Thanks guys ♥ Banana Pudding Ice Cream is the bomb!

PS: I am closing the Gibbs poll. Three people voted, and it seems that mustache Gibbs is a no no. Lol. I agree. The mustache was a little much, and lets face it, not Gibbs. Alright now. ☺

Guess what?!

Okay. So sometimes I will check billboard.com to see who is number one on the country charts. I am not really sure if billboard is official or not, but it is really the only place I know of to check the country stats. Does that make sense?

Anyway, check this out! ♥

One more thing..."Hard To Love." By Lee Brice.

There. This is pretty cool. I love the idea of the light-bulbs on the floor. Almost as great as the tea candles in the "Thousand Years" video.

"Glass" by Thompson Square is really cool too. The original black and white version. Exploding glass? Yeah. That's pretty cool. Lacerational really.

I need to get a turkey baster and a video camera. Then I will try to recreate some of those cool videos.

Wow!! One Thousand!!

Hey everyone, today I checked my stats on this blog and BOOM! There were 1,000 views! SO!  A huge THANK YOU to everyone! The ones who read the blog, the ones who find a picture, to those who just skip past it looking for something else, and to those that accidently click it and then go back a page...THANK YOU! It's just super exciting! This being my first blog and all.

I really have only done one thing blog-worthy this week though. An Avatar the Last Airbender painting. I water-colored Zuko. And then I did one of Avatar Aang. I'll post them all when I get the others done. (Katara, Sokka, Toph, Jet, and so on...) I think they're okay for someone who has never done it before. ;)

Sadly, Hunter Hayes only made it to number 3 this week on GAC's top 20. I guess it's fine though, after 3 weeks, it was time to let someone else be number one. Oh, and Tony Stark is AWESOME! Iron Man is SO COOL! (As are the Avengers!)  But not as great as Spider-man. Which do you like better? I saw the 2002 version of the Spider-man film. I think the 2012 one is going to be epic.....OKAY...I'll stop the geekyness for today. :D

To end this, a picture of my sweet sweet Dachshund, Ginger. ♥

Have a wonderful weekend ya'll!

PS: The other day, I saw a guy that looked just like Eric Church....Maybe it was just the sunglasses? Who knows. ♥

Now, I have more to say, but it is late. I'll have to come back tomorrow and finish....

Oh Deary Me...

Hey. I haven't been here in forever... SO! Lets get moving!

I found this yesterday while looking on DeviantArt for images of Sai (Naruto Shippuden)...AND LOVED IT! If you know how Sakura is, you will understand.  ♥

Back to the real business, I spend my evenings writing and listening to multiple radio stations. If I get bored of Katy Perry, I move on to a local country station. And I found my new favorite song! "Springsteen" by Eric Church.  Lemmi see If I can find a video for it. Not sure that they have an Official one out yet, but I can at least look for the lyric ones. ^_^

Okay so I found this one. I hope it will work.

I am also so excited because the Legend of Korra is FINALLY HERE!! That is the series that follows Avatar  The Last Airbender. I can't wait to see. Avatar is going to be hard to top....

ANYWAY!!! I KNOW THERE WAS MORE TO SAY!!! YEAH! Got it.  So I offered to post some links for my friend. Seven To Seven Seamstress. She does custom sewn items. Like dresses, hats, bags, purses, the whole enchilada! (Okay, she doesn't make enchiladas but I was making a point.)

You can find her here : Seven to Seven Seamstress Facebook.

Alright well, I hope to be back here shortly.

HAVE AN AWESOME FRIDAY!
