...And then take the north train...north?

Gratsi to Melman from Dreamwork's Madagascar for the Post Header. Classic.

Well, to start this off, I will post a picture of something I made. I believe that the cool kids on the street call it a "meme." I Googled meme once. Most of them had fowl words...MINE DOESN'T. Haha.

I believe that this happened after he used the potion punch AKA the drunken fist when fighting Kimimaro. Manga or not, it's basically the same thing. The aftermath of that is great, however. He get's all cocky when he drinks. LOL. And Lee, honestly, isn't really like that normally. In Naruto: Shippuden the Movie, he had a little chocolate ball--which I am pretty sure was whiskey (because Gai had started saying whiskey, but stopped himself and then said chocolate) and not chocolate--he was out of it. All like, haah la la la kinda deal. Naruto had him on his back and Lee's body slammed into a rock. And he didn't feel it. That was BOSS. Lee is a splendid--bloody hilarious--ninja.

Anyway, I have made a decision today that could change my entire life. I am going to be purchasing--hopefully soon--The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I believe that's what its called. I do have the Hobbit book. It's a really early printing. Like somewhere in the 70s or 80s...I haven't read it yet. That fact doesn't please me at all...But I have seen all three LOTR movies...I have those books as well, and I haven't read them either. I am so pathetic. I just don't have the time....~tear~ But if I do buy it, this will be the first time I have seen it. I think it's gonna be boss...Just saying. Gandalf is in it, so like, no questions asked. #heckyeahweloveGandalf...

I am going to trust that. Only because it has worked before. With Disney's Tangled actually. I hadn't seen that movie at all, and then I saw the character design online...two years later...and then bought it. I love it. It's funny, Max is awesome. And I BLOODY LOVE MUSICALS! Okay, that's not entirely true, but my voice kinda matched Rapunzel's when she sings. So. That makes that one great. Ahaha.

Oh it's so late now. But I wanted to post soooooo badly.
My dog's birthday was Saturday. She is five years old now. 35 in dog years, I think. Just thought I would throw that out there.
I am currently looking for an Orochimaru wallpaper for my computer. But I probably won't ever use it because I will not remove my Gaara of the Sand wallpaper. Ahhh.

My eyes are tired. I need to go on a Craft store rampage, and then...take a nap.
If only.

Have a great evening. I shall return soon.

Disney Funnies because of a bad mood--

Okay, so I turned on Josh Groban, listened to his angel-of-a-voice, and then I felt better. But by then, I had already found some pictures that I thought were worthy of being blogged...

A Fergus GIF because we all love him. Lol. This was probably the best part of BRAVE ...LOL
Mater's attempt at McQueen's KA CHOW...BEST. THING. EVER.
Another Mater funny...
TRUE.TRUE. TRUE.

Honestly, I say these words every day of my life. Every day. I kid you not.

Well, I can't take credit for making any of these, but I can take some of the glory because I googled  them. LOL\.

I feel better now.
Thank you.

The Secret World of Arrietty and other fancies.

I am not motivated to do anything right now. Can’t draw, can’t read. I am not even motivated enough to take a nap… So I threw a load of laundry into the washer, grabbed my laptop and now I am sitting on the couch watching a show about these guys who make Beer…And also, I am blogging about recent movies I have seen.

The Secret World of Arrietty, a Studio Ghibli film.

I saw this movie for the first time last Thursday, and—I know that I give all their things huge credit, but that’s because they deserve it—I loved it! Shaun reminded me of Haku (Spirited Away) and Arrietty reminded me of Sophie (Howl’s Moving Castle) when she was young. I have yet to watch it in its original Japanese, but I have to say, the English voices worked. I was very much surprised at that. Not because I doubt Disney’s ability to find awesome voice actors, I mean, casting Christian Bale as Howl was probably the best thing they ever did...It’s just, I knew Bridgit Mendler and David Henrie from Disney Channel; Bridget being from Good Luck Charlie, and David being from Wizards of Waverly Place. Honestly I liked Wizards, but not so much GLC…

Anyway, I kind of went off a cliff there, I’m going to get back to my original thought.

Henrie did a great job. I loved it. Honestly. Shaun is this sickly young boy and he captured that perfectly. At the end of the movie, I am almost in tears because I feel so bad for Shaun. But that is the point of movies right? Each movie gives you a different emotional experience…He was just so so sad. And we love him. It was a true "awwwwww" moment when he gave her the sugar cube back.

Mendler, now, the first words that came out of her mouth, well I would have done them differently. But throughout the movie, you became comfortable with it, and it worked very well for Arrietty.

Carol Burnett and Moises Arias were in this movie as well. It was obvious, from the first word that Carol’s character said, that it was her. And Moises, well he had maybe, one or two lines. But he still did a good job. Will Arnett, and all the other voice actors did an awesome job as well. I only mentioned the ones that I was familiar with and their work. But, that only means that I know them. It has nothing to do with how well everyone else did. They all did an awesome job!

The animation, I won’t have to rave on about because I already have—a couple times I think. They never seem to let me down. Haha. I believe that some of the artists are trained in Oil Panting…I learned this when reading The Art of Spirited Away. I just loved it all. All of it. ~sigh~

Tonight I am going to watch Ponyo. I had seen this, back in 2009 I think it was…But that is another post…

Oh, I also wanted to wish my brother a HAPPY BIRHTDAY! He got a hamster for his birthday—below.

I call the hammy “Doughy” but I guess the name that he is thinking about Bonzu Pippinpaddle-Oppsokopolis…The name Aang used when he went to Omashu.

Now I am tired. Maybe I will take a nap now...

Until later,

Natsu

10:17 pm...*WHY?*

 Sooooooooooooo.

This has been an unbelievably long, exhausting day. Working most of the day, and then babysitting the rest of the day. Was there an upside? Yes! I saw the music video for Somebody's Heartbreak by Hunter Hayes just a couple minutes earlier. Yeah, so that will do it for today I guess...But I won't go on about that today.

What I really wanted to scream to the world was that I got The Art of Brave from the library earlier this week! And I bloody love it. I have never actually been inside of an Art book besides the Art of Howl's Moving Castle--which was awesome by the way--and needless to say, I was amazed!

From what I understand, it seems as though they actually started Brave in 2006. After Cars... if I remember correctly...I honestly did not know that it took that long! But then again, there is a lot that goes into those movies. The pictures from the Research Trip were amazing, if I might add...Totally a book that I would recommend.

I have been seeing recently that Finding Nemo is now on DVD. I remember when that came out on VHS back a couple years ago. ~Insert chuckle~ My family got it for Christmas and we watched it countless times. Back when you could actually buy VHS tapes at the store. I really don't know for sure if you can't nowadays, but I haven't seen any. Unless you count thrift stores...but I don't think so...I just thought it was interesting...

 ~Yawn~

I have decided that I need a kitten. That has been an idea for quite a while...We'll see. Tee hee.

Goodnight world. I need a sandwich because I skipped dinner.
I know. I complain and complain. Again, Tee Hee.

Howl's Moving Castle. My new Obsession ^^

I know, I know, I haven't been here in a while. And I have neglected this post since Wednesday. It was just late that night when I finished the movie, and Paranormal Witness was on. That's my honest excuse.

So, to get this started, here is my review for Howl's Moving Castle.

Okay, first things first. Howl's Moving Castle is a Studio Ghibli film directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The release date for the USA was in June, 2005. I believe that Disney had Pete Doctor, from Pixar, in charge of dubbing it into English. It was based on a novel by, Diana Wynne Jones.

All I have to say about Doctor's work, is this.HE COULD NOT HAVE CHOSEN A BETTER VOICE FOR HOWL IF HE TRIED. I am serious. That was the PERFECT voice for that character. And I am not just fangirl-ing out! It was that good! The voice of Howl is a man by the name of, Christian Bale.

Some Cast members include, (in English)
Jean Simmons -Grandma Sophie,
Christian Bale-Howl,
Lauren Bacall-Witch of the Waste,
Blythe Danner -Madame Suliman,
Emily Mortimer -Young Sophie,

and Billy Crystal, as Calcifer... That was basically epic. 'Cept now, whenever I hear Billy's voice, I only think Mike Wazowski. I don't know if that's a bad thing, or a good thing. Lol.

All in all, the story was good. I liked the smaller elements, *Spoiler Alert* like when Howl had his melt down, (which was kinda pathetic, but I liked it just the same. It was funny. ^^) And other things, like the funny things Calcifer said, and so on. I don't wanna spoil it, so I won't say anymore.

But the basic plot of the story was great. I read that it was a little different from the novel...So the original book will be on my list of books to read.

Now, don't get my started with the animation. Because I love 2-D animation. I love how the Ghibli films are just that. I grew up with the older anime and such. Little did I know at the time, that they were Anime. I was a child, so things like that were just, cool shows. ^^

Anyway, I kinda went off on some memory lane there...Back to my point. I liked it all. The character design, music, animation, colors, script, everything. I know it may sound like everything pleases me, but there are some movies where I will just sit there and complain. But this was awesome. The minute it started, I instantly liked it. So- I was glad that is was almost 2 hours long.

I know only a little bit of Ghibli's work, sadly. Ponyo, and Kiki's s Delivery Service, and this one, are honestly the only films I have seen. My anime/movie watching had a rough time actually happening, but now I plan to see every one of the movies.

That's it. If it makes any sense. Haha.

In the end,  it was awesome, and I totally recommend it if you haven't seen it.

I shall be back. My foot has fallen asleep and I must go walk it off. That and Surviorman is on...hehe.

 Later Days! ^^

Bored. Honestly.

It is almost 10pm. It's not unusual that I am not asleep by now. I guess I am like one of those masked night-creatures...Oh yeah, Raccoons.

Today I went to the library-gosh, I love that place--and I got two more books from Tamera Alexander. I had recently finished Beyond this Moment. Wonderful, extremely wonderful. I loved it. The Sheriff was my favorite character. Heh... Honestly I didn't think that I would find an author that I liked as much as I like Karen Witemeyer. But Tamera is GREAT! I love these books.

On the topic of books, I was actually thinking about starting a book blog. Where I can post my thoughts about the books I read. Maybe that's a fall project..

A few interesting things I found this week. The OVER music video, and the new trailer for Disney's new movie 'OZ'--which by the way, looks COMPLETELY amazing! The producers are the same from Alice in Wonderland. It has been made pretty clear that I LOVED that movie--I can't wait to see OZ.

  Here are Blake and Oz...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyywumlnhdw
I was watching the trailer, with a quizzical mind-set. (If that makes any sense.) I had seen that actor before. Turns out, after brain wracking and finally Googling it, I learned that the actor is James Franco   I only really know him from The Spider-Man movies as Harry Osbourn. Which, I think is cool because he could be Harry OZbourn..THE GREAT AND POWERFUL! That's me being..ADORKABLE. (Heard that term on Jeopardy! and I said, "That's me!" LOL.)  I am glad that they decided to go with another actor and not Johnny Depp. I have NO problem with Johhny, but I think it would seem too...Mad Hatter-y? It's good to give others a shot.

The side of his face reminded me of Micheal Keaton though. But then again, everyone reminds me of Micheal Keaton. That and Jim-Bob Walton. Everyone remind me of both. Either really...Which reminds me, looking through things to watch on tv, I clicked by the SYFY channel and instantly yelled Micheal's name. It was him in the end. It's pretty easy to recognize him after watching Jack Frost every Christmas...The movie was called 'White Noise'--or something to that affect--I didn't stick around though, I wish I did. It looked...creepily cool.

I didn't expect this to go on as long as it did. I have dug through yet another Naruto Manga...Awesome stuff. Kakashi gets cooler and cooler, and more strange, every time I see him. I though my favorite character was Sai...Hummm.....

Goodnight to those in the BLOGOSHPERE!

You'r now tired-of-typing, book reading, movie watching, anime reading,

My fate was changed because I was BRAVE.

Yesterday my Dad took some of the family to the theaters to see Disney/Pixar's Brave. That was my first time in a movie theater, so it was very exciting. It was a lot bigger and quieter than I thought it would be. We had to walk through a few halls that were completely covered with carpeting. It was dark except for some lights here and there. I felt like I was in NCIS, on my way to go get questioned for something I didn't do. ;)

As for BRAVE...It was AMAZING! The animation was awesome. The music was awesome. Merida's HAIR was AWESOME! The wet hair and wet fabric was awesome. The story was good. The fighting sequences were a lot more intense then what I am used to seeing from Pixar. But it was enjoyable and I have to admit that I did jump a couple times during the bears' kerfuffle. Everything was very enjoyable. There where only like 2 parts that were kinda awkward for reasons I would rather not um...I had heard that the humor was much like Dreamworks. And it was...Pixar OUTDID itself on Brave. The scenery, animation, characters, everything. Loved it and I would TOTALLY recommend it. Good family movie. I think that I will end up getting the DVD and memorizing every line WITH the accents. ♥

We tried to come up with a moral to the story. Came up with, "Don't trust a witch," and, "Don't turn you mum into a bear."

Afterwards we went and had Linner, or Lupper, or Dunch or Dupper, or whatever you call Lunch/Dinner, at Pizza Hut. That was--as far as I can remember--my first time there as well! The pizza was really good. And the setting was all brick and black and white checkered table clothes. Very classy.

All in all, it was a very good day. Near the end of it I got gut-rot on Whoppers. Those things are like seriously addicting. The malted stuff inside makes them very filling.

Well, there are CHRISTMAS movies on the Hallmark channel which is awesome...and I need to do research on the history of Idaho...That should be fun. Heh.

 Have a good, muggy, weekend.

Wednesday. Nothing more than that. =]

The heat is almost too much with the added humidity. I can barely type because my I am afraid that my fingers will stick to the keys.

Now. For a long time I have been considering purchasing a new computer. A laptop. But I have NO experience whatsoever in buying a computer. Sure, I am constantly on one, but I really don't know the good and the bad of computer shopping. Like what I should look for and what is really important in one. Brands, GB, programs, and so on. I have heard that Windows 7 is really good. So I am thinking that I would like to try that...We'll see how this plays out.

Anyway, I haven't blogged much because nothing has really happened. I finished Avalon High, and even though I thought I would never see it again, Disney's Avalon High was on yesterday evening. The movie is really nothing like the book. Nevertheless, it is a really good movie. The book was really good too. I thought it was very interesting. Warriors: Fading Echos by Erin Hunter, is the next book I have begun to dig into. I absolutely love the Warriors books. ♥

I can't believe that I am even THINKING this, but I wish it was snowing.

And OMGNESS BRAVE OPENS IN 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am kind of excited if it isn't obvious....HEH

Goodnight ya'll. I am sure that I will find something interesting to blog some other day.

~Natsu

PS: Oh, and this is completely awesome. I found it the other day. That set would have been PERFECT for 'Haunted.' But then you wouldn't have been able to see Taylor's 'Haunted' dress. Which is really pretty. Still, really really cool.

Have a great Weekend!

Eheeee

 Things that happened this weekend:

I got a new camera. A Canon. Super pumped about that. Seriously, the quality of the pictures is like something you wouldn't believe.

Saw the official "Wanted" music video. Hunter Hayes. You'll probably see that around here sometime.

I guess it is going to snow...Oh man....

Apparently I am not a Jedi, but a "Nerd-i."

I learned that I cannot drive a motorcycle. Crashed the thing twice. (Whoever drove by as I took that face-plant into the mud, I hope you enjoyed it. Cuz it was REALLY funny. LOL.) And I will NOT be doing it anytime soon. :)

Learned that my Uncle reads my blog, so a HUGE SUPER HI! THANKS FOR READING! Goes out to him.   ♥

Disney's Bedtime Stories is funny every-time no matter how many times you watch it.

I quote at least ONE thing from a movie every day. (Kinda Geeky...BUT AWESOME!)

I wanted to share this. Told ya that there would be some. Ya know in earlier posts and such. Finn's Friends Song. AWESOME

And one more thing:

Taken from 10,00 Jokes Toasts & Stories. Page 397. College Wit And Humor. [4136]

" And then one day she turned and saw that he was smiling at her! She smiled back at him! No, he didn't turn away, he didn't disappear-he looked at her more intently than before!

'Smile like that again,' he said.

She blushed and dimpled. And he laughed and laughed.

'Just as I thought," he said. "You look like a chipmunk.'"

The end. See you later.

Gaaa... Fishy Fishy.

Yeah, I think yeah. Tripping and almost falling in Wal-mart was totally worth these pics. Hehe :D Even though they are a little blurry. I upped the contrast, cuz I like doing that. But I think they are good for being a phone pic. :)

cutie ♥

Anyway, I am going to watch Disney's Tangled later today!  Woo.

Lol. That's the end of my random crud for the day. ♥

The End...

Okay, so after work today, I worked on my picture of Prince Naveen (frog.) It didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to be, I guess it's because I dorked up the expression. But if I had to say anything else, I think the legs are really good. LOL. Whattaya think?

Only the begining....

So I decided to draw Prince Naveen in his frog form. From Disneys'  The Princess and The Frog. This should be fun. I'll tell you how it goes. :)

Prince Naveen as a frog from Disney's Princess and the Frog movie wallpaper

Haha. I Love the look on his froggy face.

A Lion King Drawing.

HAH! You see? The title rhymed!

I know I spend most of my time on here posting pictures. Not really typing up great posts about the world and stuff. I don't really know enough of what people really want to read to make a huge post...But I like to show everyone the drawings I do....

Trying to decide if I should go out for an Animation career or a Photography career...But I also love animals. SO! Here is a photograph of an animated animal! Took me about 2 hours. Surprisingly, the eyes turned out really nice. The eyes always look real stupid when I try to do 'em. Haha.

My next victim of drawing will be Basil from Disney's "The Great Mouse Detective." And When that is finished, (and if it presentable) I will post it. :)
Tada! It was really light when I scanned it, so I tweaked the contrast a bit.
Hope you can tell who it is. I know there are some pictures that you look at and you can't tell in the least who it is. Then someone has to tell you. Then you are like, "oh....--"
