As of Late Obsessions.

  1. Disney's Frozen
I have seen this movie maybe three times now, and I bought the soundtrack too. It's such a great movie!! It's funny and the music and actors are SPLENDID! And Olaf is funny, so, so, funny.

     2.  Sherlock

So, I don't know why I am so obsessed with this show. It's just so well written. But now, I have learned, that is seems that we will have to wait like, two years before there are any new episodes!! I have two more to watch, but I may just stretch them out over that amount of time. WOW. I don't know, I really have come to enjoy Benedict Cumberbatch, and I don't know why. He's just so cool!

     3.  Word Searches

I honestly have always loved word searches. Like, those HUGE books you buy and then do and then forget about them when you were a child, and then, 5 years later you find one? And then it's like, "YEAH!" Word Searches!!! I am almost done with the one I have and last night I found a Chicken Soup for the Soul word search in a pile of stuff on my shelf. So, I am super excited about that.

     4.  Anime Music

I am watching this anime called Clannad, and I have to say, it is one of the cutest, saddest, most heart-breaking animes I have ever watched. I have about 6 more episodes before it's over and I'll post more after that. But the music on that is so great. My brother actually found the tutorial to Nagisa's theme, which also happens to be the Dango theme. I am going to learn that on the piano one day.

But I have come to enjoy the music on all sorts of anime. Even on video games and stuff. For example, if you are watching a Shonen anime, like Naruto or Bleach or Rurouni Kenshin, the music is pretty action-y and a little harder than most.

If you are watching a Shojo anime, like Clannad, or Fruits Basket, or something girly like that, the music is gonna be very pretty and girly.

    5.  Pinterest

We finally got new internet so I can be on Pinterest more now. I have almost four thousand pins. I have to really find something else to do.

And that's about it. I am into Historical Fiction and I am currently reading a book that is a lot like Downton Abbey.

I really need to find some new books and manga. I am only on book 6 of FullMetal Alchemist and I really should get back into that. 'Cept at the time, I was also reading Fruits Basket. My cousin reads manga like crazy, so I am trying to keep up.

Haha.

Naruto Volume 63 Came Out.

I was really excited to see that Naruto Volume 63 was at my library. I picked it up and brought it home and read the thing.

It was going to be great because we would finally see that Tobi was Obito. (That was something I knew anyway...stupid internet leaks. I hate spoilers.) We got Obito's back-story...like how he survived the rocks and how Madara had been involved and the Akatsuki and the war and Ten-Tails and ALL OF THIS STUFF! But we also got the thing I feared worse. How Rin died.

I figured that Rin had somehow died, whether it be from natural causes (which almost never happens in Naruto) or her being killed, or whatever. I knew this because both Kakashi and Obito had the Mangekyo Sharingan. And the only way to accomplish that form of the Sharingan was to (as we had learned from Itachi) kill your best friend. So I figured the Rin had died because I knew of no one else that was Kakashi's best friend. Besides Obito (who he never really got along with anyway) there was really only Rin.

Well. Turns out, (and I still don't understand/know the real reason) Kakashi did kill Rin.

I will show you my feels through the 5 Stages of Grief. The only way I can describe that is through these gifs I have chosen:

1-Denial:

2-Anger.

Tsunade...hehe. I am her.
3-Bargaining.

4-Depression.

And last, #5-Acceptance

That all continues with:

Glee

and this:

Hades

and also this:

Pride and Prejudice

and then some of this:

Charlie Mcdonnell

And that was how it went.

So....I am waiting for January to come to I can see Volume 64 come out.

UGH.

~~Anne

(Thanks to Mashables for some of these awesome GIFs.)

Tuesday Night

I log onto Fanfiction.net and press "Anime/Manga." Then I look and see where the Naruto fanfiction is. Then I read "Naruto (347K)"

...

Then I went to Meme generator and created this:

SO! GUESS WHO IS GOING TO BE UP ALL NIGHT READING NARUTO FANFICTION! *points to myself* THIS GUY.

This is Tuesday night, my friends. I wrote over 1,000 words for my story, so I think I deserve it. (LOL not really, 1,000 words is super chump.)

And then I am going to go watch Tony Stark in Sherlock Holmes. Yay. :D

Frustration.

Ugh. Ugh. Ya know, I absolutely can't stand GREAT Naruto Cosplay. You want to know why? BECAUSE IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY AND EXCITED!! Then I want to buy a couple wigs and go to a Convention...Ugh. But kudos to all ya'll awesome cosplayers...I will be going to a convention some day soon. Even if it kills me.

Oh, so New Year's exercise idea? So far, no go. And I am actually really bummed out. But it is so cold out of the house and that is were the treadmill is. The ceilings are two low to jump rope in the house, and I...kind of like Ice Cream...I tried to get like a Rock Lee attitude about it. Saying that I would lose those holiday pounds. I have a motivation now. COMIC CON 2013!!

Well, I have to because I have nothing else to say for today. I am going to draw a picture for a friend and I need to do Sai research. Meh...Not that it isn't enjoyable...BLEH.

Dragons and Christmas Lights.

Recently I was able to see Dreamwork's How to Train your Dragon when it premiered on the FX channel the day after Thanksgiving.

It was actually really, really good! I hadn’t expected to it to be as good as it was. I had however, heard some things about it. Like it was a lot like Brave and all this stuff. But to me, it really wasn’t like Brave at all!

The only things that I thought were similar would have been Hiccup’s father design and the point that they did have the accents...But other than that, I got nothing.

All in all, it was amazing. I liked the story, and the humor was good. The character design was awesome when it came to Toothless, ( Toothless was SO INCREDIBLY CUTE!) and they picked the perfect actor for Hiccup. He would be Jay Baruchel.

Jay was on The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, (a movie that I had seen before Dragons...I was watching it and thinking, “Oh man, he sounds so familiar…Kind of like Hiccup from the Dragon show. (However, I had only seen commercials for the Cartoon Network series, that’s the only way I really knew the voice. Does that make sense? ;) ) That sentence kind of drifted away into its own creation. Moving on…

The reason that this all came to mind is first, I wanted to post about it anyway because it was so cool, and second, because last night I began reading a book called Eragon.

Eragon so far, reminded me of How to Train your Dragon. I think it was because he had found a dragon egg and was keeping it a secret. Much like Hiccup did…But Eragon is so cool so far. More to come, more to come…

Anyway! Now for the light portion of this…Heh. (Hope I have the right video here.)

I am kind of actually really excited about this up and coming holiday! Christmas! And to top of the Christmas music the minute Thanksgiving is over, we have Christmas lights!

My favorite part would have to be the glowing green cactus…There are some parts where it is just blinking alone. One day I am going to do this with my Christmas lights...It will be stupendous…

Well. Other than that, we have moved on to Season 1, volume 2 of Naruto. In the Manga, however, we are somewhere in the middle of book 33. It has been cool, if not cooler, than the first part of Naruto. But that’s all I talk about these days…That or I am obsessing over writing Dialogue…

Believe it!

Not to go ranting about Naruto again...but really, that’s what’s been happening. Finally at Volume 29 of the Naruto manga, we (brother and sister and I) moved on to watching the Naruto anime. Me being a freak about scheduling and spoilers, we agreed to read all of the original manga, and when we got to—what is called Shippuden in the anime, technically Part 2—in the book, we would begin to watch Part 1 of Naruto. So I collected from the libraries, 20 hours and two seasons of Naruto. Part 1!

To break that down, we do an hour a day, which would equal to two episodes every evening…after Jeopardy of course. Earlier last year, I was basically introduced to Naruto from one of my buddies. So I tried to get into it, ya know, to see what it was like. I hadn't however, been able to get it until earlier this summer.

So I pretty much enjoy it. There are some things that ya maybe could do without…Like Jiriaya’s hobby—if you watch/read it, you know what I mean—and some jutsu that Naruto does sometimes. But other than that, I like the story, and more importantly, for me, the characters. I like it when you get a bunch of characters that are, “complex “is the word I use. Characters that have an important place in the story, a back-story, reasons for what they feel, etc…My list could go on and on. Anyway, back to the point -you’re not stuck with 5 main characters and then you’re done.

For me, I spend more time watching the lighting change, or how certain things are shadowed, or how Masashi Kishimoto does bridges of noses and sides of faces. Because I can’t do that! That’s why it’s so fascinating to me! It is something that I have always wanted to do! So I spend more time looking and taking mental notes at how everything is drawn than actually watching the show. Of course then, I have to go back and look at what I missed while scribbling down notes.

While I was typing this, I realized that I did draw the side of Orochimaru’s face. Let me see.
Copyright Laws apply.

Yeah, so I upped the contrast and took the brightness down a peg. It was too light to see in the picture. (I took it with the computer web-cam, so it wasn’t that great in the first place. But it does look dramatic now. Haha.) It is actually facing the other way in real life, but again, the camera angle. I can’t draw in the right direction anyway. I don’t know why though…only left…I thought it was pretty good though. LOL. But there is ALWAYS room for improvement. :)

Well, I think I am pretty much done with my Naruto rant…Really, besides that; I have been working on my Dialogue in my writing. Turns out that Dialogue can be used for many things besides just having a conversation. Like, it can be used to describe things, the setting, it can be used to move the story along, and all kinds of things! Dialogue by Gloria Kempton, is the book I am reading.

Am I the only one who has “Like a Surgeon” by Weird Al Yankovic stuck in my head? It only takes one word to trigger that song…SO thumbs up to the Weird Al fans. Hehe.

Until I can think of cool things to write about,

~~Natsu~~

PS: Naruto says “BELIEVE IT” at least 5 times in each episode. Figured it would make a good title ^.^

Narnia and other Sunday Fancies. ^.^

Today I am working on finding the voices of Naruto characters including Tsunade, Jiraiya's and whoever else I come across. Switching out between the first Narnia (which isn't technically true...Hmm...First Narnia Movie.) and the 4th Indiana Jones movie.

 More to come.

Cold on a Saturday Morning.

This past week has been pretty much like every other week. I bought some K9 Advantage II for Ginger. It has only been 3 days, but I have not seen one flea on her. She seems less annoyed and she follows me around again! For a while she totally ignored me, I thought that it might have been the recent company that's been annoying her. (Mostly because she is a little spoiled brat and doesn't like it when my attention is divided between her and other people.) But now that I think of it, she may have been agitated for other reasons.

Now she is fine. She seems a whole lot happier and I believe that the Advantage stuff really works. I had heard things about it on commercials, but I spent some time reading reviews online as well. Some of them said that it was better than Frontline, and others said that it didn't work at all. Well, Ginger is an 11 pound Mini Long-haired Dachshund, and it works for her. So happy that it does! :)

What I have thought about in the past couple days is that some bits and pieces of this blog are really high-strung sounding. I don't know if that's a bad thing, sometimes I just get really excited! I am working on it though. Lol.

I have also learned that if you get 1 or 2 books from the library, thinking that the week will be busy, odds are that you will be finished with the books in 2 days. That’s how it is for me, anyway.  Whenever I get maybe 7 books, my weeks are so jammed with crud to do, that I never get to read! I have been pretty crammed trying to read the books I have now...Then again, I can always renew them. I wanted to take some time off today, however, because I just wanted to sit here and blog.

It's really cold here, which isn't surprising because it is almost fall. I really didn't feel like doing anything else. Yesterday I worked all day. Which was my fault, I guess. I didn't have to work that week, but I chose too...I think it was a better choice in the end.

Besides reading, working, school and other things, I have been trying to draw Anime. Mostly characters from Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden. So far I have done one of Naruto and Anko, two of Rock Lee (because for some reason I find him cool and awesome. Lol) I have done one of Orochimaru, and one of Sai. Sai was introduced into the series in the first episode I had ever watched. I guess at that point I was just looking for a character to be my favorite. And that was maybe a year, year and a half ago. I was pretty new to it. Still, today, even though there are a couple new characters added to that list, Sai is still one of my faves. Favorites besides Sai include, Hatake Kakashi, Rock Lee, and Gaara. That is basically it now. I am not that far along in the manga, and I have been trying to keep myself from watching the Anime because I wanted to finish the manga first.

Other things that happened...? Hmm... Me and my "Studio Ghibli group" (in other words, a group of my buddies who watch Ghibli films, and are reading/watching Naruto with me) watched Spirited Away this week.  It was AMAZING! Like, completely AMAZING! It was an AWESOME movie! I will try to get a real review out sometime soon. I am most likely to watch it again. So there should be a post about it some time. Hehe ^^

  Later days,

The Continued List.

Hello, long time no see! I have been waiting for an opportunity to actually get on my laptop. Sure, I could do it anytime, but I was never motivated until today. I decided that I should finish the post that I started, and frankly, I missed blogging!

So here is the list I was talking about.

  •         NARUTO VOLUME 9
  •         HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE
  •         WAITING FOR SUMMER'S RETURN~KIM VOGEL SAWYER
  •         THE INHERITANCE~TAMERA ALEXANDER
  •         REMEMBERED~TAMERA ALEXANDER
  •        MAID TO MATCH~DEEANNE GIST
  •         STEVE JOBS~WALTER ISAACSON
  •         Revealed by Tamera Alexander
  •         Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones (The original Novel)
  •         Spirited Away, a Studio Ghibli film
  •         Courting Trouble by Deeanne Gist
  •         Deep in the Heart of Trouble by Deeanne Gist

These are the books/movies I have recently been working on. Naruto, Howl’s Moving Castle, Remembered, Maid to match, and Spirited Away, are finished. My plan was to write a brief review about each of them.  Here we go!

Naruto Volume 9: Not much to say about it…Except it was awesome! It covered the third part of the Chûnin Exams. Fights including, Kiba VS Naruto, Hinata VS Neji, and the last part of the battle between Ino and Sakura. Then Rock Lee was chosen to fight Gaara. And then it was...TO BE CONTINUED! Now I have Volume 10 on hold. ^^ (Totally killed me, I wonder who will win. No internet spoilers for me this time!) Over all, it was really good. If you are into that kind of stuff.

Remembered.  If you have read Rekindled, and basically any other books by Tamera Alexander, this one will please you. When I picked up Revealed, I realized that the characters all showed up in each other’s lives’ in the books. Larson and Kat Jennings made a small appearance in Remembered. It took me a couple minutes—after I finished the book of course—to realize that they were in Rekindled. It was kind of epic. Remembered was a wonderful book. Period. Alexander hasn't failed me yet!

Maid to Match, written by Deeanne Gist, was also wonderful. I honestly started around 3 on one afternoon. I finished the book around 10:30 that same evening. It was one of those books that I didn’t want to stop. Not even for things like eating or ya know, moving so your legs don’t fall asleep to the point where you can’t use them for an hour.

If it isn’t quite obvious, I am into Historical Fiction…Hehe.

Anyway, that about settles it. I have finished my list.

So, how did your Labor Day weekend go? Mine included an all-day read-a-thon
of Remembered, BBQ ribs with the family, and to finish it off, a new episode of Adventure Time! Which really wasn't a huge highlight of the evening…I was reading so I really didn't even pay attention. Lol.

The summer is coming to a close, and now I have the school bus down the street to tell me what time it is in the morning. Not the greatest thing, but I won’t complain. I need to learn how to get up early anyway. ^^

I should move on now, I still have one more thing to do before I leave the blogosphere for today.

Revenge, or a sweet crafting opportunity??

Besides reading and maybe obsessing over Naruto...I have been on a crafting journey! A journey to PatCatans! I have been sucked into the world of MOD PODGE! It is the most wonderfully, sticky, thing in the world of glue!!

GLITTER!!!!!

I have been testing my way to make Christmas Ornaments. My hope is to be able to sell them at craft fairs.  I made two so far and they turned out really good.

And your Kakashi of this blog post. :O)

Don't stop believin'--Journey.

 Hello blogging world,

I was so tempted to download that song this morning. Singing in my head. "Don't stop believing!" At the top of my lungs. Instead, I got Blown Away, by Carrie Underwood. I heard the beginning of it yesterday on the radio. And last evening, I saw the trailer for the music video, and I was, as they say, Blown Away. I seriously got chills. It was that cool!

My weekend, ever since Thursday, was a loooong one. Sadly enough, it all ends tomorrow. A couple long-lost Aunts and Uncles came out. We had our family reunion. My sister and I made 135 cupcakes because 200 was too much last year...I learned that I can recognize Dustin Hoffman by just seeing his forehead and hair...Dustin Hoffman is awesome.

Anyway, I also learned that I can draw a chibi Naruto. And that I cannot do a good chibi Kakashi. Master Guy is as weird as Rock Lee, and I really don't like them? Yeah.  See here? Hehe.

Respect laws please.

I have a lot to do on the Baked Goodies page. There is a whole bunch of new recipes and and pictures for Cupcakes that I need to put up.

Two days ago I helped Seven To Seven Seamstress at a local market. It was fun. I won a silent auction. When I get the picture loaded to my puter, I will post it. Also, I bought a fairy necklace. It's really really pretty. I will get that here as soon as I can as well.

Sincerely,
   Natsu.

What?

I am easily impressed...But I have the patience of a dead snail. Which isn't much... I guess my "Fail Wail" was so loud that a guy on a bike outside turned to um...wonder what it was... Ehe...I am sorry guy-on-the bike...I have been trying to find a video of Hatake Kakashi's English dubbed voice. I heard him say three things in the one video I did find. It was some clip and Guy all over reacted when Kakashi didn't hear what he said. I have read the 4 first Naruto Mangas and Kakashi is my favorite character by far. So I was trying to see if the voices in the anime work with his character. I couldn't really hear the Japanese voice since it goes so fast...I think what I did hear of the dubbed one worked for him. I absolutely adore his attitude. That's why he's my favorite.

Of course Sai is still basically my favorite from Shippuden. But now I have 2 favorite characters. I also now know why when you find a Chibi picture of Gaara, there is a heart on his head instead of his tattoo. The tattoo means 'love.' I love this manga/anime stuff. TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY.

I guess I am going to go see who wins the Next Food Network Star. I am pretty sure that is is the last one. Martita is gone so I really have no reason to watch it...But if I had to choose one to win, it would be Yvan. Ye...

Bored. Honestly.

It is almost 10pm. It's not unusual that I am not asleep by now. I guess I am like one of those masked night-creatures...Oh yeah, Raccoons.

Today I went to the library-gosh, I love that place--and I got two more books from Tamera Alexander. I had recently finished Beyond this Moment. Wonderful, extremely wonderful. I loved it. The Sheriff was my favorite character. Heh... Honestly I didn't think that I would find an author that I liked as much as I like Karen Witemeyer. But Tamera is GREAT! I love these books.

On the topic of books, I was actually thinking about starting a book blog. Where I can post my thoughts about the books I read. Maybe that's a fall project..

A few interesting things I found this week. The OVER music video, and the new trailer for Disney's new movie 'OZ'--which by the way, looks COMPLETELY amazing! The producers are the same from Alice in Wonderland. It has been made pretty clear that I LOVED that movie--I can't wait to see OZ.

  Here are Blake and Oz...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyywumlnhdw
I was watching the trailer, with a quizzical mind-set. (If that makes any sense.) I had seen that actor before. Turns out, after brain wracking and finally Googling it, I learned that the actor is James Franco   I only really know him from The Spider-Man movies as Harry Osbourn. Which, I think is cool because he could be Harry OZbourn..THE GREAT AND POWERFUL! That's me being..ADORKABLE. (Heard that term on Jeopardy! and I said, "That's me!" LOL.)  I am glad that they decided to go with another actor and not Johnny Depp. I have NO problem with Johhny, but I think it would seem too...Mad Hatter-y? It's good to give others a shot.

The side of his face reminded me of Micheal Keaton though. But then again, everyone reminds me of Micheal Keaton. That and Jim-Bob Walton. Everyone remind me of both. Either really...Which reminds me, looking through things to watch on tv, I clicked by the SYFY channel and instantly yelled Micheal's name. It was him in the end. It's pretty easy to recognize him after watching Jack Frost every Christmas...The movie was called 'White Noise'--or something to that affect--I didn't stick around though, I wish I did. It looked...creepily cool.

I didn't expect this to go on as long as it did. I have dug through yet another Naruto Manga...Awesome stuff. Kakashi gets cooler and cooler, and more strange, every time I see him. I though my favorite character was Sai...Hummm.....

Goodnight to those in the BLOGOSHPERE!

You'r now tired-of-typing, book reading, movie watching, anime reading,

It's just a wee sheep stomach!

I am not gonna bash haggis. Is that how you spell it? Well, I have never tasted it. My guess is that it has the taste/texture of stuffed cabbage. Or un-stuffed cabbage...I don't really know. The internet says it a pudding. But I would be willing to try it. Maybe a bite of it... ;)

While on my walk this morning, I came maybe four feet away from a mum turkey and her baby. At first I thought the little one was a bunny, but it was a tiny little turkey. I walk/run through a more wooded area, so I guess I should have expected it. But it was a interesting surprise. Scared me out of my mind. The mother ran  the other way like the wind, and the baby kinda looked around. A what am I supposed to do now? look on her (lets assume it's a girl) face.

My Naruto quest started today also. With the first magna.

'Questpad' for notes. :D

I hope ya'll have had a good week so far.

Don't attend your own funeral as a guy named Phil Shifley.

So, besides the pain in my..whole body...today has been pretty good. Considering that is is only 9:11am.  I have this new mind set thing assuring me that running/walking is good for you. I believe it is. But it has been 2 days and I just hurt. I'm just somewhat lazy when it comes to exercise. I'll give it a couple of months before I start to bad-mouth it. Heh. Although I can wake up now at 6 and not feel like crud the whole day. Before, I woke up at 8 and felt like crud all day. I am actually not as tired now.

Searching on the library website because I finally got the courage to start the Naruto series. I have seen a couple of episodes here and there, but if you asked me about anything that happened in the first season--episodes NOT being from Shippuden--I wouldn't be able to answer them. Yes. That is how lame my anime is at this point. But it seems that the box sets of the first season have a bajillion hold on 2 that they have. So I will have to wait. UGH. Haha. That will give me time to catch up on The Lord of The Rings trilogy. Yay.

Don't be fooled by the first image. The zombies are only in the end. I am not really into zombies, but I like how the commercial goes from bad to worse. :)

I WILL BE BACK.

New Stuff.

Okay. So I am trying to watercolor. Like, to get good at it. Here is one I did of Sai (Naruto Shippuden.)

natsu (me)

It's not that good, but hey, I'm a beginner. (Sorry it's sideways. HAHA)

LOL
