HAH! HAH! YES!

I just got done watching the new episode of Avatar: The Legend of Korra. Some time around the middle of the episode, I said to my sister, "PLOT TWIST! VARRICK IS EVIL!! MWHAHA."

OMGoodness. I think I was right.

She didn't believe me.

We started talking and pulled everything together. They were his boats getting taken. He was trying to get Mako and Asami on his side. I mean, come on! He had Bolin working as an actor for his "movers" and he's filthy rich. Then...then...Mako figured out how the explosions worked and how they were connected. We brought it all together and came to the conclusion that he was evil.

And then what happened? At the end of the episode, we get AN EVIL SMIRK out of Varrick! Right after he made a business deal with Asami.

OH THE JOY IT BRINGS TO BE RIGHT ABOUT SOMETHING OF SUCH IMPORTANCE!!

Now, I am not saying for sure if he is evil or not. But a smirk? I have seen that before. MANY times before. It is a perfectly legit sign of evilness.

So now, we are pretty sure that Korra is on Ember Island and she DOES NOT REMEMBER WHO SHE IS!! MAN! I cannot BELIEVE the plot twists that have been thrown in here! The show was a bit slow going at first, and Unalaq and his kids were obviously the villain, but now, OH MY GOSH. I have to give high-fives to these writers. GEEZ. Amazingness is happening right now.

THE.

FEELS.

I cannot wait for next week.

Blah. Keval's blog has a post on Tonight's episode. It's just an announcement, but the comments are pretty good so far.

Ugh. I am gonna go read now. Let my brain cool down a bit. PLUS, the book is due tomorrow and I started it around four this afternoon. I wish I didn't wait until I realized it was due.

*slap*

Goodnight,

An Update on my Life? Sure.

 Hello Blogging world,

It's been a while since we last spoke. Not a very long while, but still, a while. I guess I have had nothing interesting to post. I have been working on a picture filled post, but it takes time to come up with those! So it's going to...take some time to finish!

But I will give a simple (hopefully not rant-filled) update on my life!

It doesn't stop raining. It rains and rains and the garden had been so swamped, I am not sure if anything will grow. My flower garden is doing good though. So that's a plus. My Cosmos are getting really big. I had originally thought that they were 3 inches tall, so I planted them in the front. (I was trying to plant the big ones in the back and then go down so that the smaller ones were in the front.) But then my brother pointed it out that they were actually 3 feet. So now, the BIGGEST flowers are in the front...And I am pretty sure I planted Morning Glories. Unbeknownst to me that they take over gardens. Oops..

We finished Robin Hood. It was hard watching the last episode because ROBIN AND GUY DIIIIIIEEEEEED!!!!! Alan died too...along with the Sheriff (who we thought was dead but really wasn't!) and Guy's sister, Isabella. The end was sad. It was just like Merlin. Kill off the cool long haired dude (which would be Gwaine/Guy in that sense) and then the main character! (Which would probably be Arthur/Robin--even thought Merlin was more of the main...) Long story short, we are going to give Doctor Who a try! It seems like it is a pretty good show...and all we can do is watch and see if it is for ourselves!

I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH HOURS IN THE DAY TO READ ALL I WANT TOO!!!

Fili sits on my chest all night with his kitten paws and stares down at me. I don't want to sleep because he is watching me and then I can't open my eyes or blink because he will bat at them with his kitten paws. It's cute...but not at two-thirty in the morning, an hour after you have fallen asleep. Then his brother decides that its so much fun to make loud noises at four-thirty in the morning. I am not complaining, they're stinking adorable! ♥

I have figured out a quick way to get through my ever-so-thick Pinterest feed...

I wrote a note to a friend I haven't talked to in a year...

Um...I...

Watched movies.
Read books.
Wrote books.
Read more books.
AND then...

I took some naps.

That is about it...I think. I spend a lot of time flipping through the Art of The Lord of The Rings and the Art of Star Wars episode 3. That stuff is amazing. Stupidly amazing.

I think I shall post some pictures.
I shall return--

I'll come out and say it, I don't really have a good post title. There.

Okay. Due to internet problems--and my own constant laziness, I haven't been doing much blogging. But I was reading all day yesterday, basically, so I was doing something.

So today's post is going to be different than what I have been previously posting. That meaning: it will probably be full of music videos and maybe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I really don't know.

This song is called "The Bells of New York City." It by Josh Groban. I few weeks ago, I got the "Illumintaions" album from the library. I know that it was an earlier one, but I am not sure what year. Anyway, this was my favorite song from it besides, "War at Home."

I like the part of War at Home when he gets to the chorus, the vocals are awesome! The lyrics, if I can remember correctly are these: "You see these hands they're bruised and brown."

Now this is the lyric video for a song called "Poison and Wine" by my new favorite duo ever, The Civil Wars. Why don't I post the official video? Well,  it's a fine video--I check mostly every video before I post it, ya know, try to keep this blog mostly G-rated--but when I posted it, it landed on a... weird spot. SO! If you want to see it, it's in this link. It's a fine video, as I said before. I was hoping that they would do a video like this one. I like the simpler ones with the piano and guitar. It's so much better than what an acted something or another would be.

Maybe one of the facts here is that I cannot play the piano or guitar...even thought I REALLY WANT TOO. Hah. I do have a guitar...but my fingers weren't made for fretting. That's what my mind is for. :D (See, that was a joke.)

Then it's like, "you really gotta get better with the jokes, Mutant."

"I'm laughing on the inside."

I will give a medal to whoever gets that reference.

Okay, so, it's a theoretical medal.

Fine, it was Molly Mahoney and Henry in "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium."

Awesome movie...

Anyway, I went off track there.

Isn't funny that Word will spell-check Aragorn, but it doesn't spell-check Bilbo Baggins? I thought it was funny.

Again, I went of track.

Bad girl. Bad. ~smack~

Then there was this certain thing I wanted to post because I thought it was incredibly epic. Now, I am not so much into pop/rock music and the like, but I am open to any kind of music. The song in this music video totally worked with the whole theme of the show and whoever made this video did a stupid awesome job. I have never seen movement and music combined so well...

I found it on a blog that I think I have posted before. (BTW this is the site.) So, this is what he had to say about it.

I was beyond impressed. Radioactive is the type of song that really gets your adrenaline rushing and the message within really compares well with The Legend of Korra’s storyline. All the sound effects and animation clips fit together well and it looked like the creator really put a lot of time and effort into it.
What he was talking about was a little thing called Legend of Korra AMV (Radioactive).

When I saw this the first time, I kinda chilled over. You know, like you do, when something is completely and utterly awesome. Then, when it was over, and I could talk again, I declared that I was going to blog it.

And I will continue to sing this song for the rest of the day.

I don't know. I love Legend of Korra...so this is just as epic as anything could get.

Man, it's awesome. I think I have watched it 7 times, maybe?

Well, I think that does it for this post.

I shall be back.

Have an awesome day.

Cold on a Saturday Morning.

This past week has been pretty much like every other week. I bought some K9 Advantage II for Ginger. It has only been 3 days, but I have not seen one flea on her. She seems less annoyed and she follows me around again! For a while she totally ignored me, I thought that it might have been the recent company that's been annoying her. (Mostly because she is a little spoiled brat and doesn't like it when my attention is divided between her and other people.) But now that I think of it, she may have been agitated for other reasons.

Now she is fine. She seems a whole lot happier and I believe that the Advantage stuff really works. I had heard things about it on commercials, but I spent some time reading reviews online as well. Some of them said that it was better than Frontline, and others said that it didn't work at all. Well, Ginger is an 11 pound Mini Long-haired Dachshund, and it works for her. So happy that it does! :)

What I have thought about in the past couple days is that some bits and pieces of this blog are really high-strung sounding. I don't know if that's a bad thing, sometimes I just get really excited! I am working on it though. Lol.

I have also learned that if you get 1 or 2 books from the library, thinking that the week will be busy, odds are that you will be finished with the books in 2 days. That’s how it is for me, anyway.  Whenever I get maybe 7 books, my weeks are so jammed with crud to do, that I never get to read! I have been pretty crammed trying to read the books I have now...Then again, I can always renew them. I wanted to take some time off today, however, because I just wanted to sit here and blog.

It's really cold here, which isn't surprising because it is almost fall. I really didn't feel like doing anything else. Yesterday I worked all day. Which was my fault, I guess. I didn't have to work that week, but I chose too...I think it was a better choice in the end.

Besides reading, working, school and other things, I have been trying to draw Anime. Mostly characters from Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden. So far I have done one of Naruto and Anko, two of Rock Lee (because for some reason I find him cool and awesome. Lol) I have done one of Orochimaru, and one of Sai. Sai was introduced into the series in the first episode I had ever watched. I guess at that point I was just looking for a character to be my favorite. And that was maybe a year, year and a half ago. I was pretty new to it. Still, today, even though there are a couple new characters added to that list, Sai is still one of my faves. Favorites besides Sai include, Hatake Kakashi, Rock Lee, and Gaara. That is basically it now. I am not that far along in the manga, and I have been trying to keep myself from watching the Anime because I wanted to finish the manga first.

Other things that happened...? Hmm... Me and my "Studio Ghibli group" (in other words, a group of my buddies who watch Ghibli films, and are reading/watching Naruto with me) watched Spirited Away this week.  It was AMAZING! Like, completely AMAZING! It was an AWESOME movie! I will try to get a real review out sometime soon. I am most likely to watch it again. So there should be a post about it some time. Hehe ^^

  Later days,

The Continued List.

Hello, long time no see! I have been waiting for an opportunity to actually get on my laptop. Sure, I could do it anytime, but I was never motivated until today. I decided that I should finish the post that I started, and frankly, I missed blogging!

So here is the list I was talking about.

  •         NARUTO VOLUME 9
  •         HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE
  •         WAITING FOR SUMMER'S RETURN~KIM VOGEL SAWYER
  •         THE INHERITANCE~TAMERA ALEXANDER
  •         REMEMBERED~TAMERA ALEXANDER
  •        MAID TO MATCH~DEEANNE GIST
  •         STEVE JOBS~WALTER ISAACSON
  •         Revealed by Tamera Alexander
  •         Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones (The original Novel)
  •         Spirited Away, a Studio Ghibli film
  •         Courting Trouble by Deeanne Gist
  •         Deep in the Heart of Trouble by Deeanne Gist

These are the books/movies I have recently been working on. Naruto, Howl’s Moving Castle, Remembered, Maid to match, and Spirited Away, are finished. My plan was to write a brief review about each of them.  Here we go!

Naruto Volume 9: Not much to say about it…Except it was awesome! It covered the third part of the Chûnin Exams. Fights including, Kiba VS Naruto, Hinata VS Neji, and the last part of the battle between Ino and Sakura. Then Rock Lee was chosen to fight Gaara. And then it was...TO BE CONTINUED! Now I have Volume 10 on hold. ^^ (Totally killed me, I wonder who will win. No internet spoilers for me this time!) Over all, it was really good. If you are into that kind of stuff.

Remembered.  If you have read Rekindled, and basically any other books by Tamera Alexander, this one will please you. When I picked up Revealed, I realized that the characters all showed up in each other’s lives’ in the books. Larson and Kat Jennings made a small appearance in Remembered. It took me a couple minutes—after I finished the book of course—to realize that they were in Rekindled. It was kind of epic. Remembered was a wonderful book. Period. Alexander hasn't failed me yet!

Maid to Match, written by Deeanne Gist, was also wonderful. I honestly started around 3 on one afternoon. I finished the book around 10:30 that same evening. It was one of those books that I didn’t want to stop. Not even for things like eating or ya know, moving so your legs don’t fall asleep to the point where you can’t use them for an hour.

If it isn’t quite obvious, I am into Historical Fiction…Hehe.

Anyway, that about settles it. I have finished my list.

So, how did your Labor Day weekend go? Mine included an all-day read-a-thon
of Remembered, BBQ ribs with the family, and to finish it off, a new episode of Adventure Time! Which really wasn't a huge highlight of the evening…I was reading so I really didn't even pay attention. Lol.

The summer is coming to a close, and now I have the school bus down the street to tell me what time it is in the morning. Not the greatest thing, but I won’t complain. I need to learn how to get up early anyway. ^^

I should move on now, I still have one more thing to do before I leave the blogosphere for today.

Angry Birds and This. ♥

After a long 10 hour reading session, (not going to say it was JUST reading. I mean, there was food to eat during time periods and the other stuff...Like, I HAVE to get water inside of me every 11 hours or so...)

I finished Short-Straw Bride yesterday. And today I started and FINISHED Stolen.

The reviews for both, I'll make 'em short and sweet. Kinda like the caramel corn my sister made... *shutters* That was some EPIC sweet crud right there...

ANYWAY! (Wait, let me get through this level of Angry Birds and I will be back...And I will be cake...WHATEVER THAT MEANS! Okay so I did originally type cake instead of back. It's not that hard to understand though. Back kinda sounds like bake and bake RHYMES with cake...So yeah. There ya are..) (Gotta have some Rhyme in your life :O) )

Short-Straw Bride was beautifully written. The story was beautiful. The characters were beautiful. And Karen wrote it in a way that made you feel like you were actually there. Knowing what was going on. What they were feeling...(That was the best part.) The whole thing was really really sweet. I REALLY REALLY loved this book. That's my opinion. I love the Historical Romances. ♥♥♥

Stolen, on the other hand, wasn't what I expected. I really did like the story. There were certain things that I really didn't like. I could have done with out the cussing. But the story was nice. The camel was really neat though...

That's my opinion.

Well, the book for tomorrow is 'Avalon High' by Meg Cabbot. I am pretty sure that is how you spell her name. It looks promising. Can't wait ;)

The night is some-what young, but I am going to bed...

Night ya'll.

Oh, one more thing.

This is the Limerick I wrote. Like two seconds it took me to write it...Heh. I love limericks.

"There was an old lady of Wombat,
She was never good at combat,
One day she fell on her head,
                       Now the floorboards are dead,
And now there's no lady of Wombat"

Wombat was the first word that came into my mind. Geekery. Yeah. That's good... :)
